Purchased this to lay on top of an area rug so my 6 month old has a larger play mat to roll around and crawl on on the floor. It's really soft, not super thick like a comforter, but thick enough to provide some cushion for him. I would still lay some pillows around him if he were sitting up and there was a chance that he could fall over - it's not meant to provide that kind of cushion. Perfect for what I was looking for.

This mat fit the 50”x50” playpen perfectly. I used it for my granddaughter when she napped. It was thick and soft. Plenty of room for a baby to sleep or play.

This is a must have for a playpen. The mats that come in the original package are very thin. This adds the extra layer of cushion for the baby or child. Great material and easy to clean in the washer and dryer.

Thinner than I’d have liked it to be. But otherwise, it’s well made. It fits perfectly in my baby’s play pen. And the great with white stars design is cute. I also like that it’s so soft.

Absolutely love love love this, I love that you can wash it and that the back is slip proof, and that’s a big on the safety list! I think it’s very comfortable for babies but if you have hard wood and plan on laying with your baby, it’s not so cushy for us, but it fits perfectly in my 50x50 play pen and the floral pattern was exactly what I was looking for as there are hardly in that pattern, so the color was exactly what I wanted and it folds neatly when you need to put it away

I ordered the extra large star grey mat because I needed something as big as my daughter’s play pen to protect her from the hard wood floors we have and this said “thick” and had the exact measurements i needed so I ordered it. After opening it I am upset that this is not thick at all. Falsely advertised, I don’t understand how this has so many reviews stating it’s thick when its absolutely not. I laid it down on my daughters playpen and kneeled myself in it & laid there to test it… I can feel my knees touching the hard floors. This would in no way protect my daughters head if she were to fall or her knees while crawling over it. This is so thin NO PADDING. The whole reason I bought this was because I thought it would feel comfortable and be a bit protective but it’s not. Now I have to go spend extra money to see if I can get a foam mattress and then use this mat as a topper. Nice design, nice length, but it’s too thin. It feels like you’re laying on bare floor. Don’t be fooled.

This play mat does not match the advertisement, it is not thick at all. It also is too big for the playpen even though it was the suggested option by Amazon to purchase along with the playpen.
