Alright, I'm going to step up to the plate to bat for those of us in our 20s and 30s who did not get this on their tummies, arms, or legs....I work back and forth between the US and Western Europe, and although I always wear a Tommy Hat, one fateful summer night I stormed the wrong trench in Belgium (maybe Germany, the timeline is still unclear). Symptoms first began around late June, early July. For anyone who is or has been in this boat, I'm sure you can recall the initial horror. With little assistance from my healthcare provider I found myself bouncing between GPs and Dermatologists mostly paying out of pocket. Initially, I did find that cryo-treatment was the best for resolving the lesions. However, between Dr's visits and being misdiagnosed (ultimately purchasing the HPV vaccination), I was probably about $1,500 into this whole thing before finding this product.First off, I'm no doctor or dermatologist, but you can buy Dr. Scholl's Wart Freeze away and do some of the handy work yourself (if your confident enough). I would suggest first seeing a dermatologist about cryo and going through that process at least once or twice so you know what you're in for and what to expect. Anyway, I initially purchased this product from Wal-Mart's online site before buying the combo pack on Amazon. With all that behind me, I was ready to take a chance on a product for $70 (especially when the derm was $148/session).Using the wrong kind of soap can actually exacerbate this skin issue! It can dry your skin out, and make it easier for MCV to jump and spread locally. I immediately fell in love with this product when I started using it. The soap leaves your body feeling soft, clean, and not all dried out.The actual ointment itself is sticky, deep red/brown, and definitely has a smell to it. It applies easily and drys pretty quickly. You want to adhere to at least applying this product twice daily. I always cleaned the effected area with soap during a shower and then applied the ointment when the area had been dried. WARNING, this product will stain clothing! Make sure you're wearing undies and pajamas that you are willing to potentially sacrifice for the cause. I didn't find that the product stained if I had ensured that it was dry before putting clothing on. If you miss any of it while it's in it's liquid form, it will stain.You'll know when it's dry. It turns into a pasty white lather that seems to vanish by mid day. I was pretty liberal with the product. Using a little extra didn't seem to have any negative effects. It is not painful to apply to the skin, even in sensitive areas.I wish I could tell you that this product worked on it's own, but I can't really say so truthfully because I was using it in tandem with another form of treatment (cryo). From my personal experience, that's the best way to use this product, in tandem with something else. You wanna hit this skin virus on all fronts if you can help it.Overall, I have been really pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone who is suffering from MCV. I struggled with this virus for over 6 months and I really feel that this product played a big role in finally giving me some relief and peace of mind. This virus would stress me out regardless of where it was on my body, but for those of us in our 20s and 30s who got it in the worse place possible know the stress, shame, and frustration. Do yourself a favor and buy this product, at least for the peace of mind that you're being proactive. After several weeks of using this product in tandem with cryo, I finally feel clear of this skin infection. Once again my boy's standing tall and is ready to head back to the front lines.Wise up! Do your research on all skin to skin viruses! It's a jungle out there. I had never heard of this skin virus, and honestly, most GP's and Derms can't promised you immediate solutions, at least not affordably. I really believe that this product made a difference, and I feel smarter and safer for having gone through this experience.

I bought this product on the recommendation of my child's pediatrician. I had tried almost every other remedy for the molluscum spots on my daughter's legs and nothing worked. After using this twice a day for about a week, the spots started to form a scab. Today is week 4 and almost every spot is completely gone. I would give this more than 5 stars if I could! Buy it, use it, and see results!

I have read the reviews and get it! Nothing is going to work immediately, especially with a virus that can/will spread. This was a product our physician originally shared and after trying one other purchased product and a home remedy or two, I ordered it. My little is 4 yrs so spreading had occurred. We stopped baths, opting for showers and use the soap. We have used the topical for 45 days and the molluscum are almost gone. There are a few stubborn postules that will need continued treatment. We are thrilled a virus that can typically last 6-12 months before subsiding has been reduced to about 4! Thrilled!Note: it does discolor skin in area of use and fabric it contacts while wet.

My daughter somehow got this molluscum contagious bumps from school or somewhere not sure. I went to her doctor and he instantly knew what it was but said there was no cure that they'd eventually grow out of it and left the age really opened saying that could take till she was 16 even and she is 5 now. WOW I was so sad for her and it was spreading down her legs in places people would see, also you don't want to pass it on so life would be sad. any way I decided to try this and it immediately started to work and less came out, so months went by and it def took longer then you hope for. but it wasn't; painful for her like other topical prescriptions she was given, so at some point it just went crazy and was really red and painfull so I was frustrated and stopped for a couple of days and all the sudden they had all gone down flat to her skin and healed within one week, and no scars, she hasn't had them since... I think what happened is that the virus just completely all at once left her body after using this stuff, consistently for month which also kept them to a minimal and helping them not spread

I never leave reviews but was compelled to do so! My daughter had about 40 Molluscum that seemed to be spreading by the day. I was hesitant to order when a friend told me her dermotoglist recommended this item. It isn’t exactly cheap… fast forward 4 weeks and they’re almost all gone!!! I can’t say we used it every single day- I would’ve been more consistent if I wound have believed it would work! It does stain clothes FYI so keep in mind!!! Ty to the creators of this wonderful product. No traumatic dr appt.Also this is completely painless and points for being all natural hooray!

My daughter had over 100 lesions all over her arm, torso and legs. We went to multiple dermatologist and physicians trying various prescription strength creams none of which worked - all of which caused such intense inflammation that it lead to localAbscesses and infections. Still the lesions persisted. We were told at one point this might not be molluscum and was possibly an autoimmune response. Desperate as it spread to her face we bought this. To be completely honest- it is a total pain- it stains clothing so be prepared to have your child run naked until it dries- and it is unsightly if a lot of bumps bc looks strange so we did every night and mornings we were home and washed off some when we went out. After 6 weeks- they are almost completely gone. I could not believe it.

I’m a real mom that bought this for my daughter. She had severe molluscom bumps on her armpits inside elbows and bikini area. This stuff works!!! After 6 weeks it was down to a barely there level. Today after 3 months later it hasn’t returned. Yes it’s overpriced but it works and there’s still plenty left over in the bottle. It really is worth the money when your kids stops feeling self constant stops picking at the bumps. Buy it.
