Filter change only took one or two minutes. Fit perfectly. I'd happily buy them again. I noticed that some people rated this filter poorly and said that it didn't fit because the foam filter didn't totally fill the filter box on the vacuum body. I think these folks don't understand how the filter is supposed to fit. The foam cylinder does not totally fill the filter cavity in the vacuum. The foam filter fits on a plastic carrier that has a gasket at the bottom providing the air seal. Space exists above and all around the foam filter so that a large volume of air can be easily passed. Air goes from all around the outside of the filter into the core of the carrier which then directs the airflow down into the disc filter. A foam filter that totally filled the filter box on the vacuum would flow far less air. The foam is really not undersized; the gap is on purpose.
