DAZCOSUS Size Adult Princess Cosplay Halloween Costume Renaissance Medieval Dress with Quiver

I didn't have high hopes for this Merida costume, but it came fast and the reviews were mostly good, so I ordered it. It came today and OH MY GOODNESS! The velvet is one of the prettiest colors of teal blue I have ever seen. It's practically luminescent and it's literal eye candy to me. On top of that, it has a lovely weight and feel to it. I had seen reviews that the ribbons on the sleeves come unraveled easily, so I was very careful trying it on, and I'll update my review if they don't last. The other big surprise is that this dress is somewhat tailored with a side zipper, so even though the fabric is stretchy, it has some shape and structure. This dress is so flattering, and the perfect length for me (I'm 5'6", 34 DD, and an AT 6-8.) The dress looks very high quality with chiffon detailing. My husband said I looked gorgeous in it (which he really doesn't notice these things generally,) so I couldn't be happier <3

5'4" 124 lb - size small fit perfectly. I'm small-busted but there seemed to be plenty of room in the chest area. Used for a Disney Halloween Costume Party and I dressed as Merida from Brave. The ONLY thing I didn't like about the costume is that the quiver/holder didn't look good through both belt loops so like others, I only used one loop and angled the quiver. I purchased a bow & arrow set and the bows (and my cell phone/keys) fit into the quiver so I didn't need anything but the costume for the evening. Overall, the dress was really good quality and could be versatile for any Renaissance or Medieval event.

I wore this dress to Mickeys Not-So-Scary Halloween party and got TONS of compliments! Despite it being hot as heck, I survived very well. I am a very committed person though so if you are having second thoughts, take time to consider for a while. Though it isn't 100% movie accurate, it is still a wonderful dress! But do be warned to be very careful while putting it on or removing it. The seams are a bit fragile, but I didn't tear anything. Now about the belt and the arrow holster, those are COMPLETELY different qualities compared to the dress. They just looked really bad with quality difference between the dress and the overall look. The holster loops that keep it to the belt are held on VERY loosely with cheap thread and snapped off while I was trying it on a few weeks before the party. The dress has no pockets so I decided to use the arrow holster as some sort of a pocket and that is how it snapped off. My phone had a nice ol' thud to the floor too lol. BUT ON A HIGH NOTE! Multiple cast members at the park, during the party, said that they thought I was the actual Merida from the parks! That just shows you how good the dress is! I highly recommend it! But what I also recommend is a nice lace front wig to pair with it to tie the whole look together! aaaand maybe some accurate shoes and white stockings as well. But be warned! Color from the dress may transfer onto white stockings, so buy a few pairs to wear specifically with the dress if you do not want to ruin any pairs you may already have and like.

This costume is beautiful and the quality is great for the value! The stretchiness of the material makes it comfortable, the warmth is perfect for October, and the details are lovely! The fit is true to size, and the color is perfect for Merida!

The media could not be loaded. Beautiful dress. Nice quality. Arrived very fast. I wasn’t able to find a sizing chart (Edit: I'm just a fool, I found it after looking again), but I believe I picked the right size. I am 5’10” ~200lbs and purchased a size Large. It’s a nice length, but it’s a bit loose in the waist. That’s no problem at all, though, because I can just cinch it up. The sleeves are also a nice length, not too short like others have stated before me. The fabric has a nice weight to it, but it’s not too heavy, and it flows beautifully. It’s a bit warm, but that’s to be expected in a long sleeve velvet dress. It’ll be good for chilly Halloween nights :) I found that the quiver hangs a bit too high if you loop it through both belt loops, so I only used one, and I love the look! It needs to be weighed down to get the creases out, but that’s no problem at all. It was a bit pricy, but a good investment. I can see this dress lasting me a good long while.

Even better than I expected! The material is great. I sized up because I have big shoulders and it fit perfectly.

I got so many compliments on this when I wore it for Disney Day at work. The material was very soft and well made. Very impressed.

I recommend not stretching the sleeve part because the ribbon will break off. I’m a XL but I should've size down to Large. It’s pretty comfortable.
