Yes, this laverbread tastes of the sea, but no bits of sand amongst it, which can happen in 'fresh' laverbread. Its a special treat for us, add it to bacon & bread frying in a pan ,an egg and to add extra delight, fried cockles in breadcrumbs.

Grew up in Wales we used to pick it off the rocks and cook it. Could always pick up good quality laverbread and cockles in Swansea market. Can not do that where I live so this is a great alternative.

Not a fan of the stuff myself but bought for Cubs as part of a 'bushtucker trial' activity and they were equally disgusted But apparently, people do like it

i have used this product before..a gift from a friend. i really like laver bread..most people are reluctant to try it..be brave,it is good, and also good for you..!
