956EV Universal Remote for Liftmaster/Chamberlain/Craftsman/Linear/Genie Garage Door Openers(2Pack)

A great price. Easy to program. Work on very large number of GDO makes and models. And they arrived quickly.

This is pretty much a generic brand and quality of the plastic is cheap but it was really easy to installed and actually works! I would not watch their tutorial video though since it made it more confusing than it really is. Just follow the instruction on the manual and you'll be okay.

I was worried about the cheapness of the construction (I had a much more expensive, brand name key fob opener before) but so far so great. They are holding up, and I was also worried about the lobster claw coming undone easily but they are still solidly on both mine and my husband's keys after months and we aren't particularly gentle.The only small complaints are: 1) occasionally it seems like the button sticks and you'll have to press it again once or twice. It's very infrequent and not really an issue for me (I've had expensive visor clip kinds that do the exact same thing) and 2) the install was a tiny bit more difficult than other openers I've programmed in the past. We did get it eventually in like 15 mins maybe for both but it just seemed extra finicky about orientation, proximity, or delays. We obviously haven't had to do that again after the initial set up so it's a pretty minor issue.

I purchased this because I have 2 garage door openers of different brands. I was able to program both fobs to control my liftmaster and Genie garage door openers. Make sure to read the instructions and it will be very easy. I read through instructions once, and was able to program both the fobs on first try.As easy as can be!. Just get it.

The third largest button I wanted to program to my 3rd garage door with a yellow learn button. Followed exact directions I did on the other two doors which were purple learn buttons and they programmed fine. Yellow was a one button push to program. Purple was a two button push to program. I tried two remotes which Amazon says are 956EV compatible. Both failed. I have 956EV from Liftmaster and it does all three buttons. Whoever the supplier was with Amazon I would like to hear from and find out why they do not work per the instructions.
