I like everything about this rack. First of all very well packaged and arrived with no dents or scratches. The assembly was easy and everything went together perfect and square...I mounted it level I just took a crooked picture. One thing I checked before assembly was the dowel pin location for the ball rack. The dowel was not centered in the width of that piece and one way it works and the way it doesn't with my wood rack. The way I mounted is with the dowel on the bottom of that piece. I made a score keeper with colored wood beads. The cue clips work great nice and thick but we don't yank on the stick when removing we grab the stick with a thumb on the clip. I had seriously thought of making my own rack but factoring in the cost of wood, stain and time involved I decided this was a great way to go.

I bought this pool cue and stick holder for my husband for his birthday. It is the perfect way to organizer all of our pool accessories and get them off the floor. The quality of the wood is great and it was easy to put together. The predrilled holes made it easy to hang on the wall. I like the overall design. The price was fair especially for the quality. Would recommend for anyone looking to organize their pool accessories!

I think all the previous reviews of problems with the part stickers must have driven some change in the manufacturing process. There were only stickers on two parts. They were thoughtfully placed on the hidden edge of the parts and they came off easily.I also saw some comments about it not being real wood. Mine certainly was. In fact I completely sanded and re-stained the whole thing to match the room and the wood grain looks great. The lack of color options, or even a non-stained option is the reason this isn't a 5. It's also a very simple design, but that was perfect for my application.Build quality is good. Instructions were good. They actually included extra screws. For the price it's fantastic.

It's a pretty decent rack and fills my needs just fine. It's very functional. The down sides are, in order of being most problematic to least problematic: (1) All the parts are labeled with adhesive labels, and in removing the labels it was impossible to get all of the adhesive off of the parts, leaving blemishes on every piece of wood (10 in all), and removing them was a pain. (2) The finish is not great, not bad, but could be better. (3) Understandably, it is completely unassembled, and it takes quite a while to put it together - it took me over an hour with a cordless drill, and I'm pretty good at these things. Particularly difficult was screwing on the 8 plastic clips that hold the top of the cue sticks. The screw hole is recessed in the bottom of the arc, making them a bit difficult to reach, and there is a tendency for the screws to go in crooked. It would be nice if this was done for the buyer already, and doesn't seem like it would take up any more shipping space.Overall, I'm pretty satisfied. I don't mind the upfront time to assemble it, but it could be made easier with pre-attaching the cue clips. But seriously, the adhesive labels messing up the finish - that needs to stop.
