ZAGG InvisibleShield HD Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S4

I believe this is the best screen protector on the market.I have installed three of them myself over the years, and this new version is the best yet.If you are familiar with the invisible shield, the original designs had a "tacky" feel which was nice, especially if you had a whole body model, front and back, as it helped with grip. The down side of the original design was that the protector had a slight "orange peel" finish, ok for my last two phones, but with a new Samsung Galaxy with a state of the art screen I was reluctant to install the older version.Zagg now offers the invisible shield in 4 different models/finishes. This high definition model is much better than the original, which was quite excellent itself.They advertise a smoother glass like finish. I find this claim to be 100% true. After 2+ years of use on my older model, there wasn't a single scratch on it. The protection is really first class.It is very difficult to tell there is a screen protector on my new phone. There is no discernible distortion.So why the "but" in my review title?While the protection is superior, it is very difficult to install these protectors properly. If you are not familiar with the invisible shield, you should go to the Zagg website and look at the installation video, so you can see what you are getting yourself in for. You can also find a bunch of them, for the phone of your choice, on youtube. They are installed with liquid spray which needs to be squeegeed out from under the protector after installation to remove air bubbles. Plus it can be incredibly difficult to actually remove the protector from the backing it is shipped on.My strong advise, go to a kiosk in your local mall that sells and installs these things. Pay an extra $7 or so for installation. You will not regret the extra spend for the installation and you will have the best screen protector on the market, bar none.

Hi all.I have been using Zagg protectors for several years now, since my DroidX. This is four phones now, and two tablets. My main complaint has always been the rubbery feel and orange peel texture of Zagg's products. They offer great protection, but have always felt yucky, and sometimes take weeks to break in.I was checking this HD model out at Best Buy. Their price is $35! Here on Amazon, it's $11! I decided to give it a try, based on the box advertizements and a couple of good YouTube reviews. I am pleasantly surprised. It is almost as smooth as the original glass! There is very little light loss, noticeable only to the keenest eye. The install is the usual, which isn't too bad. Mine dried overnight and is silky smooth.Zagg covers give fantastic protection. I use my phones in the field and roll on them, keep other items in the same pocket, use them with greasy and dirty hands, splash paint, etc. I'm rough on phones. I don't use belt clips. I wear carpenter's jeans at work, so I have the leg pocket. That pocket also houses pen and carpenter's pencil. I typically wear out a case per year, but the Zagg keeps on trucking! After three years with my Razr Maxx, not a scratch! But three cases down!Zagg has finally gotten it right with the texture! Well done!***My single complaint now is that the protector is about 1mm too large in each dimension. I have a tight fitting case and it has required me to trim the Zagg with a razor knife to get the bottom to stop buckling. Not quite enough to remove a star, but something of which you should be aware.

I have bought invisible shields for all my devices. I think they're the best protectors on the market. The spray makes it really easy to get it positioned right, and to get all the air bubbles out.That said, I feel like this one isn't quite as long lasting as the original ones I always bought. It's curling up at the edges (of course, this is slightly due to the case I have, but the old one didn't do that, even with the case). It does have a much clearer screen than the other ones, which have a slight matte finish on them I think. This one also shows fingerprints and stuff way more.I'll probably go back to the old style next time, but this one is really good if you care more about the clearness of your screen.

First thing I going to say is READ THE DIRECTIONS before applying this as I have never used a wetting agent to put on a screen protector before and you have to be careful not to get the solution in the holes in phone. They claim that minor bubbles under the film would disappear in several days but when I put mine on I put the phone under a desk lamp that had a 100 watt incandescent bulb (yes there still are 100 watt bulbs available if you know where to look). The heat from the bulb shrank the film similar to heat-shrink tubing and overnight all the minor bubbles disappeared. After several days all the minor ripples also disappeared. So far this is the best protector I have ever used. Clarity is phenomenal, cleans very easily with microfiber cloth and absolutely no scratches or mars so far. The touch sensitivity wasn't impaired either like some of the other products on the market. I work construction which is definitely a hazardous place for phones and so far this is THE ONE!

Very easy to install as per instructions

Had this on my phone for the past 2 years and haven't got a single scratch on it. Combined with a decent case, this screen protector will keep your screen in good condition. Any small scratches or imperfections that are inflicted to the protector also seem to work themselves out over time.I've only had to put it on once, but I didn't have any trouble after following the instructions.

Ive had this protector over a year and its still going, no marks on it and it protects my phone so well, ive dropped the phone a few times and like other protectors they havent got enough sticky and it falls offwould definitly buy agian

Fixed the problem I had where the screen had got scratched in my case. (Gorilla glass is NOT scratch proof) The material on the protector seems to massively reduce the blur, scratch and means the phone looks darned near as good as new.Only thing I found was it tends to peel off at the top if it doesn't go on absolutely right.

One thing I love about zagg screen shields is the high gloss finish. The screen shield is highly thin and easy to apply. Any small marks have faded out after 48hrs. Very happy, worth the money
