This is one of my preferred brands of nail polish and the color is a favorite! Can't find the color in stores anymore so happy to find Amazon has it!

Aside from Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri polish, I also LOVE Essie's polish! My go to colors for my corporate working nails are; Lady Like, Ballet Slippers, Chinchilly, and Barefoot & Topless. All of these colors go on so easy and are so versatile. For a sheer dose of color I swipe once across my nails...more opaque color swipe twice across my nails, then finish with instant dry top coat (Sally Hansen or OPI). Colors are so pigmented and beautiful...and look great on my nails...I get compliments on them all the time, people asking where I got my manicure. They're shocked when I say I did them myself! ❤️❤️

Essie is a great brand, and this color is one of my all time favorites. It’s an exceptional color that easily compliments all colors of my wardrobe because it somehow is a cool and warm shade... even though that doesn’t make any sense lol. I tried my best to take pictures to capture the color, but I think it fails to do it justice. It’s a beautiful creamy grey color with an extremely subtle warm purple undertone which makes it unique. I knocked off a star for a couple of reasons - for it to be opaque, I personally apply 2 to 3 coats, with each coat it unfortunately does make the shade darker, but it is still a beautiful color. Another reason is that despite its delivery being on time and the packaging in perfect condition, without fail, I manage to see tiny bubbles on my nails after the application. The pictures I uploaded were taken mere minutes after finishing with no base or top coat. You don’t see them immediately, but once it completely sets and dries, I see the small bubbles no matter how much I shake the bottle before hand and or buff my nails prior, etc. I have seen other reviews mention this, but for me personally, the color is so pretty I don’t mind - a top coat will help tremendously. It has such a great shine to it, 9/10 times I don’t apply top coat with Chinchilly or to any Essie polish because they’re that good, but that’s just me. :) if you apply more than 1 coat, this polish does take a while to fully set despite it feeling like it dried all the way, and any premature contact will leave dents if you didn’t dry them with any professional polish setting light/device so make sure that you have ample lounging or no-hand required time after application if you dry them the old fashion way like me! :)
