Well-designed, sturdy cart, still going strong after several years of use
I've used this tool storage rack cart for several years now and still love it. It holds LOTS of tools. I like that it has various-sized handles for different sizes of tools. On mine I have the following 21 tools (and space for at least 6 more): seven assorted rakes, four shovels, two hoes, an edger,a pond net,a post hole digger, a dandelion-puller, a broom, a dustpan, a pitchfork, and a battery-powered weed-eater (on the end, handle attached with provided strap). One the other end, there is a part that sticks out that can be used for holding a coiled extension cord or a bucket of small toolsSometimes, it is difficult to sort one tool out from the other, but this is usually easily remedied by either rearranging which tool goes where OR putting some tools in business end up. I also put the most frequently accessed tools on the same side, and the lesser used ones on the back row. In addition to the tools handles pinches on the side, there are holes the top center for smaller tools such as my hand-held hoe and spade and such. The wheels are designed so one can roll it out of the way to get to something behind it or move it a short distance around the garage or other smooth area; it is not designed for everyday rolling to and from the storage and work areas,

LOVVVVVE THIS!
While we have gone through more than one of your "run of the mill" tools organizers, let me say "the buck stops HERE!" This organizer is amazingly sturdy, functional and deserves ALL of the great product reviews others have given it. My husband and I put it together in less than five minutes, no tools required. Afterwards he took his time picking and choosing what items to put in. This organizer has space for rakes, cords, trimmers, brooms, shovels, weed wackers and anything else your yard work or basement requires. As my husband organized it, he showed me how the side entry slots on the top shelf are different sizes. This is really helpful because not every item has the same handle width. For example, broom handles may be slimmer than shovel handles etc., so this small thing is really a BIG and smart thing. We love it so much, we are ordering another for items he wants to NOW buy. Ours is in the basement and takes very little space, it would probably be great in a shed as well. The wheels are very helpful if you have to move it away from the wall to remove an item. Also one last thing to love . . . it is made in the good U.S.A.

Decent product, great price!
In summary: The caddy performs as advertised. The box says the caddy can be assembled in 5 minutes; my assembly time was closer to 10 minutes. The instructions are simple and mostly well written; after all you are inserted 4 legs into the bottom and top, and inserting 4 casters. The instructions tell to you to insert each leg so a slot on the leg aligns with a notch on the bottom; two steps later you learn that you did not need to push the legs all the way down in the locked position. The box says you can insert the caddy without the need for any tools; this is correct, however I had to use a mallet to fully insert two of the casters. Amazon’s description of the product states, “Steel core adds strength and durability” which I found to be slightly misleading (hence not a 5 star rating). The legs are rubber coated hollow steel support (nice), but the bottom and top of the caddy are 100% plastic. The top of the caddy has one center row of circular holes for inserting tools handle down. These go from just large enough to support a rake (on either side) to about 1½ inch (in the center). The front and back of the top contains open (but spring-loaded) slots that have the same size range. Don’t be confused by my choice of the phrase spring-loaded; the plastic is shaped in such a way as to bend in for inserting and removing tools and spring back into place after words. As I just received the caddy I cannot attest to how long this will last. If the locking mechanism fails, I could always use two screws and a rubber band. As stated elsewhere in reviews, the casters are cheap plastic wheels which can wear out over time, but you could visit a hardware or office supply store and buy a set of sturdy solid hard rubber wheels on a steel ball-bearing base. I kept the cheap wheels and they do work with a fully loaded caddy.I do recommended taking a little time to think about how to use the caddy for organizing your tools. Start by installing the large handle tools first, then work down to the thin handles. Tools can be installed handle side up or down, but the instructions advise handle side up for greater stability. I was surprised that find I could store an axe (non-circular handle) within a side slot. I was also able to store pruners, loppers, and a post-hole digger in addition to rakes, brooms, shovels, hoes, a cultivator and a sledge hammer. As I was loading the smaller items I did notice that these smaller items do create a clutter that will require some thought before removing neighboring items.Am I happy with my purchase? The simple answer is yes. Would I purchase another caddy? I caught this item on sale for about $25, how could you possibly go wrong here. If I needed additional storage I would not hesitate to purchase another. The caddy cleared up my basement shop creating a great deal of space. The portability of being on wheels is another great advantage. All in all, if you are considering a great way to organize your tools, this most definitely beats peg board walls with hooks that fall behind tables into hard reach corners and sliding clips on long rails which must be permanently mounted to the wall of your shop.

Best rack for shed
Assembly was very easy and quick. No tools were needed. The product works great if you store the tools the way they are displayed on the picture - metal side down. There is a lot of room at the base, and there are ridges to keep the tools from sliding. The openings for inserting the handles are larger toward the middle of the rack and smaller toward the outside/ends. For my tools, I could have used a few smaller openings. This was the best solution for me. I had a yard tool rack with openings at the top. That works great in a garage where there is plenty of room overhead, but I now store my tools in a shed, so I needed a rack that would allow me to put the tools in without lifting them up above the rack. The rack can be rolled around. I don't have to need to roll it far or often, and I think that function will work well for my purposes. I am very happy with my purchase.

A Good tool rack
My old tool rack was poorly conceived and sloppily engineered. Nevertheless, I kept it for nearly 20 years until it fell apart. This rack is a great design in that most of the slots allow you to clip the tools into it. I hate assembling anything. This was really easy to put together and required no tools. I am extremely happy with it. There are a lot of nit picking reviews below. However, for this price you cannot beat it. I cleaned my tool shed recently, and this topped off the job by having a nice neat way to store my shovels, rakes, hoes, brooms and pick axes.
