Well designed Tripod
Let me just say WOW to my latest edition to my personal home photography addition, the Neewer 79”/200cm Video Tripod, Heavy Duty Aluminum Alloy Camera Tripod Stand. It arrived very quickly and as with all Neewer products, it was packaged professionally and without waste. I am always pleased with the Neewer commitment to smart design and using recyclable materials. Upon opening, I found all components professionally wrapped and in a secure and stylish carrying case. It is a well made and functional case that has dual carrying abilities, by hand or with the shoulder strap. The zipper is full length which allows for easy access to remove and replace the Tripod. I am now the proud owner of several Neewer photography pieces. I am extremely impressed and pleased with my Neewer Tripod. It has so many user friendly options and the "panning" abilities really free up your hands and allow for complete rotation and filming. I am currently using it also for still photos and I find it is exceptional in this regard also. As with all Neewer products, it is universal and works perfectly with my personal camera and components. The design on this Tripod far exceed my previous purchased brands. The entire leg system is the extremely heavy duty while still being light enough to carry. The leg extensions are user friendly and open and close with a superior ease compared to my other models. The height on this is beyond compare but when it is sitting at standard level, it does not take up any extra room or space. It does not appear bulky or cumbersome and is space sensitive. It is also pleasing to look at overall. This tripod takes minutes to learn it's functions and capabilities but serves as a high quality piece of equipment. I personally highly recommend this Neewer Tripod to anyone needing to upgrade to a better quality tripod that is affordable, well made, well designed and has great functionality.

- If This Shakes, Call the USGS
I recently upgraded to an extreme telephoto camera and assumed my old tripod would be up to the task—it had handled my DSLR with a 240mm lens just fine. I was wrong. I needed something rock-solid, and found it in the NEEWER 79" Tripod. This is not a lightweight, toss-in-your-day-bag tripod. It’s a heavy-duty outdoor platform built to keep your camera steady. If you notice camera shake while using this, you’re probably in the middle of an earthquake. The fluid drag head delivers smooth, controlled pan and tilt movements, even at extreme magnification. Once you lock the camera in place, it stays put—no drift. I don’t shoot much video, but with a load capacity of nearly 18 pounds, I’m confident this tripod would be an excellent choice for videographers as well.

Very nice!
I love this tripod. This is a heavy duty mamma jamma. The 90° angling feels secure and tight. There is some weight on it which makes it stable. I highly recommend this for a novice photographer if you have doubts on what kind of tripod to get for your first time. It’s definitely worth the money to invest in. The instruction book is thick but only has 8 pages in English the rest are for other languages. Make sure to look it over so you can identity each part. Experiment and remember to have fun with it. Stay safe and use common sense: happy shooting! I’ve use 30” with a remote app on my phone and I’m amazed how sharp my photos come out vs my shaking hands lol

Love it, but here’s some cons
Great first impressions from a full time creator. Pros * heavy duty and high quality, feels like it will last a while * fluid motion works really well and feels nice Super cool that you can adjust the movement bar, so when it’s maxed out at its tallest you can still reach the bar. Helpful for shorter people like myself. The whole tripod is much taller than me. * Super tall tripod, I didn’t realize how tall it was going to be. * easy to replace the annoying mounting screw that comes with it * it comes with a carrying bag that actually feels nice. A lot of these bags are bare minimum crap that rips open, not this one. Cons * it doesn’t go very low to the floor so you’ll need another tripod for short shots. * no way to adjust height from the center, you have to tediously match up all 3 legs for minor height adjustments. * the camera mount screw doesn’t have an easy way to screw it in you have to use an Allen wrench 💀 which is a huge pain. So you’ll have to buy another screw * camera mount can’t covert into vertical mode you’ll have to buy another mount for that. So as it is this tripod is stuck in horizontal which is a significant disappointment in 2025-2026 with a lot of content being viewed on mobile Overall, this is my favorite tripod I’ve ever owned. Will be using it for many years to come.

Tall and stable - especially if you need the height to get over the crowds heads.
This thing is TALL and stable. The fluid head isn't the best, but for the price - it can't be beat. Seems well made.

Very happy with purchase.
High quality for the price. Perfect for studio use. The head is very smooth, both pan and tilt. I especially like that it has a spreader attaching the three legs. This keeps it very sturdy. Rare to find at this price range.

Built like a tank—stable in the field, precise enough for long glass
As a photographer who bounces between desert racing, sports, and real estate, I’ve put this Neewer aluminum fluid head and tripod through a wide range of abuse. It’s heavy, durable, and inspires confidence—even with a 600 mm lens or while running multi-exposure brackets. Stability is rock solid; pans are smooth, and it doesn’t flinch under pressure. Where it shines is video and action work. Fluid movements are steady and reliable—exactly what I need when the subject doesn’t sit still. For real estate, though, I’ll admit a geared head would be less tedious; getting perfectly level and square shot after shot is just faster with gears than with a fluid system. That said, this head has proven itself in every scenario I’ve thrown at it. If you value stability and toughness above shaving ounces, it’s a serious piece of gear that earns its spot for everyday use.

Great Tripod with much functionality
Sturdy Tripod that allows me to mount heavy cinema camera rigs. It loads heavy weight and 360 swivel makes is very versatile to level horizon on uneven platforms. Strong locking system too

Ottimo cavalletto

Kostengünstig=Kompromisse

Fit for the job
Though it is only two days since I received the product , apperantly looks a very sturdy product. Even 200-500 lens weight was well absorbed . A bit on heavy side , though . Height is perfect for someone like me who is in excess of 6 Setting up takes hardly anytime The head travel , 360 degrees is smooth enough for video shooting The tripod came in a decent bag, as primary packaging. Secondary packaging was also very professional. The seller does his job quite well. Look forward to tons of photos and videos using this tripod
