I've seen similar Euro leads of comparable quality selling for about $60... so this is a great buy. Good leather, lots of options. My only dislike is how the hands-free option is so long on me, at 5'5" tall. But I'll figure it out. I use this lead on my medical Service Dog, so it gets daily use and is holding up & meeting expectations.

I would have given all 5’s if one of the thumb pull (see pic) hadn’t broken immediately. Was surprised as the leather is really thick and not cheap materials. The attachments were put on very strong, my 110lb German Shepherd pup couldn’t break them. I use it several times a day. I tether our 100+ lb dog who likes to stay home, to our 45 lb dog who likes to roam the country side. Now our runner stays home, and we don’t have to search for him. And it’s long enough to give them both room. Great buy, even with the now shorter thumb pull.

These are the best leashes you can buy. I train large dogs and with this leash there is enough weight that the dog knows there is something there without being to heavy. It is also nice to be able adjust the length as needed. I highly recommend this leash for anyone that has a large dog. I have 3 of them, one I keep in traveling dog kit and 2 at home to walk our German Shepherds.

I have already received my refund, which I do appreciate but, the rivets on one of the leash sections popped open the first time I used it for my dog. We were inside, and she was safe, but it could've just as easily happened in traffic. I was worried about whether the leather would stand up to the hardware (she previously broke a narrower leather traffic leash, where the rivets had weakened it), and the leather itself is fantastic, it has a great feel to it. But it didn't feel too great holding it without my dog at the other end.

This leash broke apart during a walk with my dog. Not even a month of use. I am terribly upset that this occurred. Would never trust anything made by this company again.

One buckle goes on her easy head halter and one goes on her harness. I can hold allalong the leather without it slipping or hurting my hands. It is the best for myvery strong spinone italiano. I can imagine looping it over my waist if my hands are full.

Great leash1 I have an 80 lb German Shepherd that had pulled me to the ground. This leash has saved my back becauseI wear it cross body and can hook the bottom part of it to make a handle to help me control my untrained GSD! So happy I got this leash,the leather is a little dry but after putting leather lotion on it, it was perfect. Thank you for an excellent product.

The D-rings are small and weak. The o-rings are large and sturdy, but aren't welded closed. My gsd is small, so it works, but someone with an unruly 90-lbs gsd might want to look elsewhere. The leash itself is strong, it's just the rings that are suspect.

Have two the one clasp broke but just used an extra lock to secure rather then be waiting for replace. Love the multiple ways of connecting
