NoSaltOriginal Sodium-Free Salt Alternative, 11 oz

I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: I have pre-hyper tension, which means I take a small dose of blood pressure meds daily, but that is enough to keep my readings as normal. But if I do not also watch what I eat, I will have High Blood Pressure in full. SALT seems to be the main thing that my Doctor warns me of, because I do not eat much of the other obvious things like FATS and GREASE and SUGARS. So I decided to give this a try. Not soon enough to see a difference on my readings, and I don't usually add much salt anyway because most foods are already salty enough. But I can make these comments. I find it taste pretty much like regular salt. BUT it is very fine making it easy to OVER Salt with NO SALT. It is also a tiny bit more powerful or "salty" than regular salt, so my warning is TAKE IT EASY until you figure out how much works for your taste buds. It does not require as many shakes of the shaker to get the desired results. Too much and it will taste salty. I Recommend. Good Luck.

This is a good alternative to using sodium when you want some salt-esque flavor with none of the sodium. It has a sweeter taste than traditional salt because it's made with potassium, so the sodium bite isn't there. Though, this does offer a good alternative flavor to enhance whatever you are making. I really like adding this to boiling water when making pasta, it really helps give it flavor and seems like it's actually sodium!I bought this online because I couldn't find any salternatives locally. It's a decent enough value per cost, but I do prefer to buy locally if I can help it.I would definitely buy this again if I can't find anything local!

It has to be used sparingly as it can have a bitter taste if oversalted, but it is great when you need just a bit for the egs... etc. So far, so good.

I buy on Amazon because it has become hard to get in my area. But make no mistake this is the best Salt free "salt'. Once you get used to it, tastes great and adds good flavor.

I really enjoy cooking and especially eating. However I was diagnosed with something that required me to massively reduce my salt intake and of all the salt alternatives I always end up buying NoSalt. The difference in taste is noticeable at first as potassium is rather different then sodium but when added to meat or vegetables it’s not notable at all or if there are a ton of other flavors. It is notable in things like soup where there may not be many other flavors present but otherwise it acts like real salt. It has been a life saver for me and I’ve been using it for years. It also is the cheapest alternative on Amazon when calculating per ounce. Great quality product but the container can occasionally break if you’re too rough with it as it’s made out of a thick paper/cardboard material.

I mean, it’s not sodium chloride, but definitely better than many other substitutes. Can be used to make your own low-sodium V8. (Just look at both product labels, and add that much potassium to the V8. No need to buy special version).I’m not going to tell *anyone* they will like a salt substitute! But this one is pretty good.

It tastes bad. If rather not have ANYTHING on my foood

I've tried other salt substitutes but this is the only one I really like. It doesnt have that metallic taste that the others have. My search is over!
