The Hybrid Cross Shark grip offers the speed of the Shark system and the support of an ergonomic trekking grip for additional support and comfort on descents.
Shark Frame Strap Mesh: Lightweight and breathable, cradles the hand in place on the grip for perfect connection and power transfer. The convenient shark quick connect/release system from the grips allows to easily hydrate, peel a layer or tie a shoe without the hassle of getting in and out of a regular strap.
Extended foam grip: Provides multiple locations to grasp when climbing or traversing. Sleek and lightweight CLD internal locking mechanism lets you quickly deploy the poles or fold them into 3 sections. The small collapsed length offers easy packability.
High modular carbon: super light and stiff for optimal swing weight. Speed Lock 2+: Fast and easy adjustment of the pole length even whilst wearing gloves. Smaller, lighter and 20% higher holding force than SL 1. Adjust the tension as needed without using tools.

I’m not a fan

These poles are so minimalist that they feel flimsy. The grip is small and hurts my hands after couple hours of descent. May be ok for an hour of trail running but for all day serious hikes on boulders pack something sturdier.
