The Famous Mushrooms Playing Cards

I thought for $21 I'd be getting a little more quality.These are not waterproof playing cards, they're offset printed paper cards.They're smaller in size and print than normal cards.The company that designed them is in the UK, some of the mushrooms are European, some you can find in north America.Got these so I could play with them, but I'm scared to shuffle them for fear of damaging the edges.

Great pictures but little or no in formation about whether or not they are eatable or poisonous. The idea of informative survival cards is to learn about items that may help you survive under extreme or normal circumstances. Identification of anything is only the first step, what to do with what you know is next. This cards would be a must have item if it would include more information.

A lot of these mushrooms don't grow in my zone... they're cute enough as playing cards but what I really want is a set of ID cards for each mushroom, with unique qualities/edibility/etc info on each one.I believe these are a British collection of mushrooms. Just an FYI for those looking for something to help their personal study.

So glad I didn't pass on getting this when they were available. These are really beautiful cards, each with the common and scientific name of the mushroom. Complete deck of 52, along with two Jokers. I particularly like the Ace of Hearts is the Chanterelle, and that one of the Jokers is Amanita Virosa - the Destroying Angel. They shipped from the UK, and actually didn't take terribly long or cost that much. If you ever see them for sale again, buy them. Any fungi fan would be thrilled to own these.

We used them all summer! Super fun if you forage mushrooms.

Each card is a different species and fruiting body. Durable playing cards, just a tad smaller than a regular sized deck. Love these and will get more soon!
