I was worried about the handle from reviews but mine doesn't have any problems. I love the convenience of it. The knifes are sharp. And everything feels of good quality. I do wish the pokers had covers over the points, they are sharp. I wrapped the tips in tin foil so I wouldn't get poked. I'll probably try the hot glue method to cover them. We could put our sporks (4) in as well to keep everything together. We used this for tent camping but now I want another to keep in my tent trailer since it's small and convenient.

I generally don't review items. However, I feel like the quality of the items actually saved me a trip to the hospital. I purchased this to be a nicely packaged camping utensils set for cooking. It did exactly what I needed and more! Very sturdy and well made pieces. I am very happy with this purchase.While cooking over a campfire, I tripped over concrete sticking out of the dirt to our campfire ring. I would have absolutely fell onto the ring grills and into an active fire. The only thing that saved me from a hospital trip was that I had my spatula in my hand as I started to fall. My spatula caught in my dutch oven while I attempted to stop myself from falling. If I had a standard dollar store item, as my camping supplies had in years previous, a cheaper/flimsy item would have simply folded in my fall and I ended up with severe burns.

This is an OOTB review, and subject to update after use in the field. My initial impression is that I'm going to be happy with this - tools are pressed sheet stainless, but decent enough gage for occasional use (i.e., camping). The chef's nice is surprisingly good quality, with a riveted tang handle and sharp blade. Happy with everything in the kit. It came with some plastic bowls, which are a joke (flimsy, tiny) and will go straight to the trash. I didn't downgrade the rating because I didn't buy the kit for its bowls.

I was pleased with the completeness of this set. The only thing missing is a potato peeler but I have one. The knives are very good.

My husband and I go camping frequently, but we have small cars which means not a lot of space to pack things into. This travel set eliminated the jumble of utensils in our camp gear which saved us a bit of space. It's very compact and convenient to carry. I was worried the first time I used it that I wouldn't have everything I need but it exceeded my expectations and fulfilled my camp cook needs. The camp site we go to most often has a community cook site; everyone who saw this set wanted to know where I got it :).

We LOVE Whealer's Camp Kitchen Organizer Travel Set! Hubby and I are launching a bucket list of hiking/sightseeing adventures. Looking for ways to cut costs we decided to prepare most of our on-the-road meals right in our hotel room or at the campsite and wanted a compact way to take along all the tools essential to prepping an edible meal. Came across Whealer's kit after viewing a blog written by a highly organized mom. IT WORKED OUT AWESOMELY! What's more, we think for the amount and quality of equipment/tools you get, the price point is pretty great as well.

Love it, so much fun to used for camping.
