A perfect solution to my problem
The vent cap arrived very quickly and was well protected in a box. It fit the 3.5" PVC pipe opening perfectly and was super easy to install. Very well-made product, sturdy and functional. I used this to cover a vent pipe on the roof for a ceiling fan that was letting rainwater in and sealed it with flex paste. Problem solved!

Great Radon Cap
Fit snug on existing pipe as replacement for hail damage cap

Expensive but serves its purpose.
Decided to install my own radon mitigation. This was a perfect fit. Gave it 4 stars because the price is stupid high compared to average pvc parts.

Does what it needs to do and keeps rain / leaves out
I had radon remediation and the installer left the vent pipe without any kind of covering. Since everything on my roof gets a lot of leaves, I wasn't comfortable leaving a huge open pipe without a cap. This did the job and fit well. I didn't use any kind of adhesive and simply slid it on top of the vent stack and it has held up to several large storms without any issue at all.

Great Cap for Radon System
My radon system exits the house near a very mature spurce tree that produces a lot of pine cones and sheds a lot of needles throughout the season. I purchased the roof cap to ensure proper ventilation for my radon system while protecting the fan motor from pine cones, snow, rain and/or other debris from damage. The cap is somewhat pricey compared to all of the other PVC parts purchased for this install but, without hesitation, it's worth it when comparing to the cost of replacing the motor housing of my radon unit if it were to become damaged from the elements. In case anyone is wondering if the cap negatively impacts radon results, I ran my unit without the roof cap for one week and my radon values average 0.2 pCi/L. I took another sample one week later after roof cap was installed and the results are the same. One month into the install and no change in pCi/L readings.

Perfect Fit on 3 Inch PVC Schedule 40 Pipe
I bought this item to cover the top of my home’s radon mitigation system exhaust pipe on the roof. It’s intended to keep rain and pests from going down the pipe and messing up the fan that pulls the radon gasses from under the home’s foundation.I felt like the plastic grid on both sides was a little too large. I wanted some way to keep even fairly small pests out, so I purchased some stainless steel mesh, cut it, bent/pressed it into place, and zip-tied it on. The result was something that’ll do a much better job, I think, and probably last forever. Then, I climbed onto the roof (very tricky at age 62) and installed it. It fit perfectly. Nice and snug. Then, I went into the attic and checked my system’s manometer to ensure that the item didn’t reduce my system’s airflow, which would affect the fan’s capability to pull dangerous radon gas from under the foundation and exhaust it safely above the roofline. There was no change between the manometer reading taken before this item was installed, and afterward. So, I guess the project was a success! 👍👍This item is definitely recommended for this particular application.
