This Kastar home/travel charger works perfectly with all my Sony NP-F series batteries. It charges fast, doesn’t overheat, and the indicator light makes it easy to see when your battery is ready. The fold-out plug is convenient for travel, and it feels sturdy enough to handle being tossed in a camera bag. It’s lightweight, affordable, and works just as well as the original Sony charger. If you use NP-F batteries for lights or older camcorders, this is a great backup or replacement. Reliable, simple, and worth the price.

I use this charge to charge my Backup bateerise overnight and bateries are ready to go in the morning fully charged. I use batteries which I charge on this charger for my digital camera lights, so I only need use lights some times. You should know for my REAL Sony Batteries I use the Sony Speed Charger and that Charger runs about a $100, and it's worth it. Yet! I must say for the product here the price is great for this is a fantastic little charger. It is cable of charge many different batteries. As I have mentioned this charger works exceptionally well to charge my back up batteries which I use for digital camera lights Good product and great price!

The car adapter makes it good if you forget to charge the battery. This was a very inexpensive item and I actually use it a lot.

Please note that the prongs are both the same size; one is not larger than the other as we have had in the USA for years. This means it can be plugged in upside down, and it won't charge correctly. If plugged in upside down, the green light may glow, even though it is not at full charge. If your wall electrical socket is oriented so there are two lots at the top and a hole (ground) at the bottom, then plug it in with the logo at the top reading correctly. The red light should glow until it is fully charged. At that point the green light correctly glows. It is possible your wall electrical socket was installed with the hole (ground) at the top, and the two slots at the bottom. Reverse what I just wrote and you will be fine. Included is an adapter to be plugged into your car. I won't be using that. I don't trust that it is sophisticated enough that I would risk my cars expensive, sensitive electrical components should it malfunction.

I have a bunch of chargers usually at least two for each camera and considering that this isn't an OEM product I think it's particularly well made. I like that there's some heft to the unit and that the seams are even and tight. An especially nice touch is that the wall prongs swing out form the side as opposed to up and down which is the case for most every other charger I have. The problem with this is I can't tell you how many times I got to push a charger in the socket and the prongs fold back down. Intentional or not this design makes a lot more sense. As for charge time there are so many variables involved that determine charging times. O ordered this along with a Sony NP-F550 battery arrived completely drained (I tested it) and took 4.5 hours for a full charge which in my book isn't bad. It arrives in a generic box along with a car adapter and a small sheet of instructions. I use it almost every day and it works just fine as for the price less than five clams and Free Two Day Shipping with your Prime membership how can you beat it? Highly Reccomended

I like it. It came very fast. The battery works very well. The charger is great! It seems to charge the battery very fast. The battery replaced a battery for my Sony Digital Camera. The battery seems to last a good while, like my original battery did. I have not yet used the car charger cable.

I rated this item as satisfactory and acceptabtle. The batteries arrived ahead anticipated time for delivery. I needed the batteries for an upcoming trip to add to the single battery with the camera. I oririginally wanted the Sony Mavica NP-F330 batteries. The item description mentionened the version F330 and F550. There was no way to identify the separation of the two versions. The products arrived and I noticed the markings on the batteries indicated "NP-F550" instead of being marked as "NP-F330". There was no documentation with the batteries that would explain the interchangeability of the two versions without harming my camera. Forunately for a little luck and blind trust/faith, the batteries worked successfully. Customers will benefit and understand the product better IF there is a method to separately order items individually according to sizes, colors, or versions of an item. Also helps if there is some type of documentation explains the interchangeability or multi-function use that will not harm the consumer's property. Otherwise, I would have considered the highest rating. The backup batteries function very well like the original primary battery. The batteries have extented the use of my camera. I am not restricted to one battery which in the past resuled in my missing the moments for more pictures. I am overjoyed that now I have the ability to take more photos without a worry about the power in the camera. The batteries have not harmed my camera and continues to work very well.

It's not the most rigid unit you've ever seen, but as long as it works, it's a huge bargain. It's got a built in standard wall plug, and a lighter plug for an automobile. I've only just begun using it (with a similar bargain Sony-compatible battery pack) and, what can I say... it charged fine. Very good price. I'd recommend it to any casual user... a professional, who travels with his gear might want to look for more expensive, but sturdier units. 3.5 stars on its own, 5 stars considering bargain price
