They make riding my mtb way more enjoyable on longer rides. I use my mtb mostly for getting around and not really for the intended purpose so I am not sure how they fair when you're actually riding on a mountain. My only complaint is that the cushioning sits a little forward and it's a bit uncomfortable in the genital area.
