The glazing choices make them an absolute pleasure to drink from. Especially an iced drink on a hot day mixes with the texture of the cup and has become one of my tactile associations with a finely mixed drink at my house. When I'm making a nice drink I reach for these over the simple glass pint glasses. Being dishwasher safe also means that there are usually one or two clean.The silicone sleeve and and lid are very useful if you are filling them with hot coffee or using them as a to go cup. I initially thought that I wouldn't use them because I thought it would just be silicone pretending to be cardboard. But they keep the drink warm and keep my fingers cool and are spill proof enough to not mess up my car.
