Once I found the studs, I new it would be easy and doable. One adult cat took to it right away, the other, only took to it once I added the feeder shelf. The kittens LOVE it and once they figured out how to get up, they are always on it. So happy I finally got it, I had been debating for a while.

Another update.The customer service is incredible. They sent me replacement planks (older design, I do like pine planks more). I am very happy.Bamboo planks are probably need a bit more improvements, looks like I got faulty ones. This is why I give 4 stars. But the idea is awesome. I just wish for pine planks to be an option to choose.Umm. Update on the “new” bamboo design.IT IS HORRIBLE! Please go back to pine wood!The metal bracket in new design is skinny and flimsy. I’m attaching fabric and connecting nut is popping up, because it is connected to the bracket, which attached to the bottom board with tiny screw (like 5mm?!). Ok, I’m going “creative”, adding longer screw - not helping. And then I realized that upper plank is bent! Bamboo is not a pine. Those are pieces glued together. This will never be as strong as wood. I tried to connect planks together with another screw. And of course bamboo cracks right where glue is.I am very disappointed. My cats really loved the hammocks, but now with new design it not worth the price.Original review - old wood design:When I was ordering this hammock, I thought that it will be failure with my cats - I have couple cat trees which came with hammocks and none was used. So, I was really skeptical if it will get used at all. And it turned out complete success! I also ordered longer versions, thinking that my fat 12lb kitty will not fit in smaller hammock. Well, she was favoring longer one at first, but now I find her always in this small one. Maybe because longer one is stretching more under her weight? Anyways, I love this system too. It is a bit tricky if your house built “free style”, where studs are not spaced exactly 16”, I had to get creative with longer hammock and screw long board first to the wall, and then attach the hammock.

This is a sturdy hammock like cat shelf. My husband installed it using a cordless drill. It has to go into the studs to have proper support. We have two large male cats that use it and both are over 10 lbs. I should have gotten a larger one though as the fat cat has fallen off of it a couple times. The skinny orange cat (pictured) fits nicely on it. We placed it below window so they can look out.

I bought the raised planter, cat bowls, and hammocks to add on to shelves I had already installed for my cats. It was a bit pricey I thought initially, but when I factored in the time and money it would take to make the raised food bowls myself, I found the price to actually be pretty reasonable. The products shipped quickly and I have to say when opening the box I was pleasantly surprised. The quality was high and the product is aesthetically pleasing. The wood is finished beautifully and the brackets are fabricated very well. The company was so kind and provided several free levels, drill bits, and screwdriver bits! They also provided extra screws and very user friendly instructions that remind me of something you would get from Ikea. Overall installation was easy after I found the studs. And the best part of it all - the cats love it! They can now eat off the ground, away from our chihuahua. They also have their own little climbing space that connects to the top of a series of cabinets that leads to their cat tree. Overall, the catscape turned out quite nice. I plan on adding a bridge to the wall once I figure out the exact placement, I'll probably also get another planter for more cat grass. The one and only issue I found is that the planter pot doesn't fit snugly into the planter base, it wobbles a bit and doesn't sit quite right. That and I'd recommend that if you get the feeder you also get a hammock or a shelf so the cats can stand on that while eating. The feeder isn't meant for the cats to stand on and eat, they need another surface. Overall excellent product, I will be buying more to expand the catscape :)

I wasn't sure how my cat would react to a wall lounge bed but my cat rests and sleeps in it more then the regular cat bed.It was easy to install too.

A great product and fantastic customer service! It comes automatically as 16" wide, to match most studs, but turns ours are 24" apart. They set us a longer cloth at no extra charge. Our cat loves having places to chill that the dog can't reach :)

We are very happy with the hammock. Mila loves it! The quality and craftsmanship are superb, and the thought that went into making it a great place for a cat is evident.The lounge is sturdy and was very easy to install, although we couldn't use the included screws (they can't be used with dot and dab walls). The company's customer support is outstanding, we asked a question and received an answer straight away.We will definitively get a few more pieces from CatastrophiCreations!

A lovely cat tree. Perfect for my 2 British short hair cats.

I just put this up tonight. Do wish it was a bit longer and also wish it was built a bit better structurally - like if it had diagonal supports under each side. It seems secure but it makes me nervous hah.

Expensive, but well made and easy to install.Got it to extend our cat wall, and was not disappointed. The cats mostly use it as a step to get up and down, but will occasionally lounge on it.
