Arrived undamaged in a well-packed box. Appears to be bone-fide cast iron of similar or better quality, and better fit and finish for sure than the factory burners (actually the whole new stove) that was/were shipped with the target GE range on which it was installed. No little thumbs on the side to rest on the side grates. This is not a problem since this center gate fits perfectly and rests on the rubber bumpers on the grate frame. Now you can put a medium dutch oven or stew pot on that center burner and have 4 other factory burners left.

Fits better than the mfg griddle ! Looks great and will be more useful than the griddle ever was! Is level with no gaps all the way from left to right across stove top!

Didn't fit my GE stove part# JXGRATE1 item was to big in width and wouldn't go in slot length was fine will have to keep looking for the replacement. OEM part on spec sheet says 19.1x9.1 this part is 19.3 might fit other GE stoves had to return item.

This grate is such an improvement over the original griddle. I have cast iron griddle that I’ll place on top of the grate when needed. I’m so pleased.
