Jolie Gilding Wax – Metallic Finish for Furniture, Hardware, and Décor, Gold, 1 Ounce [30ml]

I’m a beginner and had a lot of success with this gilding wax. It dries quickly, the quality is great, and the gold finish looks beautiful. The thickness is just right and easy to control. A little goes a long way, so the size is perfect and it’s a good value for the money. I use it on carved pieces, picture frames, and even wrought iron decorations with curly details—basically anything you want to make pop. You can keep it subtle or build it up until you get the look you want.

Easy application with professional results!

I had a valuable painting in a gold frame that had lots of leaf missing. I was able to repair the damage with gold pigments but it left the frame uneven in overall color. I was not in the mood to apply new leaf so I tried this product. Wow, one coat evened out all of the different gold metallic colors from the 3 products I'd had to use and gave it a subtle sheen that did not detract from the age of the frame. Very impressed. Recommended.

This gilding wax is absolutely fantastic! It was so easy to work with. I used it in a bronze framed mirror and it turned out beautifully. It took several coats to get the look I wanted, but well worth the effort and time. I ended up not using the brushes I bought and just applied with my finger for a smoother application. Let it dry between coats and it will turn out well. This can be used in many ways…even to accent furniture knobs, chandeliers, frames…so many things. I will say that though it comes in a very small jar, a little goes a long way. Like I said, I applied several coats on the mirror frame and I still have a little left in the jar. Well worth the price in my opinion.

We inherited my husbands grandmothers antique mirror that was very discolored. I looked up what it was supposed to look like and decided to order this wax to restore it to its former glory. Turned out great! Easy to use and dried quickly. Beautiful color that highlighted the details of the mirror.

This gilding gold paint is wonderful! Very easy to use. I used it with a dry brush just to put finish on my piece and it was the perfect gold color. It dried pretty fast and does not wipe off or smear when it’s dry. There is no smell so it’s fine to use inside. It doesn’t take much to put a small amount on my dry brush just to have highlights of gold went a long way. Very easy to use and love the color of gold. It will last for many projects. I would recommend this color and paint
