Very good replacement product

I bought this box of 3 replacement gaskets and a filter plate 9 months ago. The gasket felt a bit looser than the original at the time but it fit easily and I simply left it in place until today when I tightened the top part of the Moka a bit more than usual and, when separating top and bottom for cleaning, the gasket came out along with the filter. Nice to have the 2 spare gaskets so I should be good to go for another 18 months (or 550 brews) ! I'm keeping the original filter plate although the spare one will probably be needed before the 18 months are up.

For the avoidance of doubt, these are for a Moka that will fill to around 300ml, just under the pressure valve. For what it's worth, they're being used with a '6-cup' stainless steel 'Venus' Bialetti but I don't think it makes any difference. They do the job. Probably the only thing worth mentioning is that they may seem a little loose to begin with - I remember them being a pain to fit - but after a few uses they expand to fit snugly and the seal is good from the off, though it helps to keep the gasket clean of loose grounds before and after brewing.

These do work a treat for my 6 cup Bialetti coffee maker. They lost a star because they are not as tight a fit as the rubber ring they replaced but they do work and the there is no leaking so maybe that's just the way they are! For one scary moment I did think they were a Chinese copy but I did some research and don't believe that they are! Would recommend and you do get 3 rubber gaskets and an aluminium filter! Can't complain, was a good price!

Edited after use: the new gaskets work fine, there's no longer any leaking. I was initially concerned that the new gaskets were smaller than original but it was unfounded. Works perfectly. Added a star accordingly. The quality seems fine, comes in branded Bialetti box and via Bialetti seller. The original seems to be made of clear silicone and the replacement is white rubber. The original is a size that is extremely snug in fit and requires effort to remove. The replacement is the size of the aperture but no more, therefore it moves around the space, leaving a gap, so doesn't look a good fit. However, works fine once in.

Filter and seal both work on 9 cup bialettis and are good value for money. The seal felt a bit loose at first, but after heating up whilst making a coffee the seal contracts and fits perfectly.

They fit perfectly and have revitalized my coffee-making experience. The gaskets create a tight seal, ensuring that there are no leaks or steam escaping during the brewing process. The plate also fits securely, allowing for even heat distribution. I'm very satisfied with this purchase, as it has extended the life of my beloved Moka pot. The gaskets deteriorate with time and use, the filter in mine didn’t seem changed. The gasket is the only real wear item if you’re careful with assembly, disassembly and cleaning. I’d recommend a fine to medium grind, boil the water before adding to the pot, it brews faster, and tastes better and be careful handling the unit because heat transfers quickly, use a kitchen cloth or pot holder. Brew over medium heat and enjoy the taste of coffee like you enjoyed in your European rental years ago or I your mind’s eye. Realistically if your buying parts I’m preaching to the converted!
