Wine Pump with Valve Wine Stoppers (Black 14 Stoppers)

Don’t tell anyone, but I don’t always finish a bottle of wine…! So this came recommended by a “Traveling Wine” presenter (they usually have their own branded item, but it was out of stock). It works great. I am concerned that the pump is lower quality, but so far after 2 uses, it has kept my wine from going bad between uses. I like that it comes with 6 stoppers.

These stoppers are wonderful!Easy to use, they fit all champagne/prosecco bottles that I have tried them on.They keep the wine fresh and bubbly and enjoyable.I'm very happy with this purchase.

I had a older model which was a couple decades old. The pump stopped working correctly ( it would pull air out, but when pushed down it would try to push it back in!) So I bought this one ( these things are invaluable!!) Pump works great, stoppers work fine. One complaint...to remove these stoppers, you have to pull them out, against the vacuum. No way to release the vacuum. That requires some forcefulness, and possible jerking of the bottle, splashing of wine. My old model stoppers had a slit in the top...you squeezed the stopper, the slit opened, air rushed in, and there was no more vacuum. Easy pullout. But luckily, this puller fits perfectly on my old stoppers, work great with the old stoppers, so I am using it with my old stoppers!

I have been using this type of device for over 10 years. With a simple pumping action, the air in an opened bottle is sucked out and thus the wine remains fresh for future glasses.This device is better made than my previous pump, it has more suction. It a great gift for someone hosting a dinner and a great stocking stuffer!

I love wine but I seldom drank it unless we were out because the bottle would turn before I could finish at my speed of enjoyment. While there are more expensive options out there that can do amazing tricks like draw a glass without removing the cork or take up all the air space in the bottle in an attempt to preserve the flavor, this vacuum pump does the job for a fraction of the cost and delivers on the 2 week freshness stated in the description. Is it freshly uncorked fresh? The few bottles that lingered to 14 days because they were accidentally put back in the wine rack where I might add they did not leak, they still tasted fantastic on day 14 but it had been 14 days so who can really say what it tasted the same. It also will depend on your wine. If you're going to buy wine who is made by a place where the parent company is a big soda maker, there really isn't anything that is going to improve that so perhaps that is the "leftover wine" that the Martha Stewart types suggest you pour into an ice cube tray to use later in cooking.

My husband and I have had one of these for more years than I can remember. It has never failed us. Over the years we lost a couple of plugs and the two remaining were getting old. I was delighted to find the same company for a replacement. No need to look anywhere else. This pump is excellent.I need to revise my review. After trying this for a few days it simply doesn't work. Either I got a lemon or these folks have changed their products. Don't buy it. It does not seal and the wine drips out of the top after the rubber cork is supposedly put securely in place. Really bummed and I already threw my old one out. Live and learn.

I got this pump and its 6 stoppers to replace my old Vacuvin version of the same thing. After many years, the Vacuvin stoppers didn't seem to hold pressure as well as they used to. Although they are a harder rubber, the ones with this pump have more ridges on them so I thought they'd work better. We'll see over time if that is true. I must say I still like my Vacu vin pump better....it has a rubber gasket at the bottom that seems to seal to the stopper better and it thus takes much less pumping to get the air out of the bottle (hence the 3 stars). Plus it "clicks" when done. It seems to work with these new stoppers just fine. I should have just bought the stoppers without the pump, but oh well...not worth returning it. If I was buying a pump plus stoppers, I'd recommend the Vacu Vin.

It's works very well and I'm happy about the price.

Easy to use sleek design and very affordable. Will definitely be used over and over again as one glass of fine wine is usually all I have at one time.

fair pricing and does what it should do; wine stopper. i like the simpleness, no fancy shimmers whatsoever. i like drinking wine and i usually can’t drink a whole bottle in a day so this saves it. cheers!

Does its job , after a couple of days the plug looses a little vacuum. Not that the bottle has to last this long :-)
