The lower back pain mainly have heal support. There are quite a few Dr. Scholls insoles that do both well. (Running, Extra Support, and Tri-Comfort). All three are pretty similar, the Running one has more cushioning in the heel, but you'd only notice it running/jumping, even more than the lower back specific one. Tri-comfort does everything realy well, can be found for under $7 but lasts 8 weeks. My feet felt great!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional arch support for 200lbs+, but be prepared for a difficult trimming process *by C***R on April 18, 2026* Support & Comfort: As someone over 200lbs with wide feet, I find most standard insoles flatten out within a week. These Dr. Scholl's Heavy Duty insoles are different. The reinforced arch really holds its shape and noticeably reduces lower back and knee fatigue if you are on your feet all day. The shock-absorbing heel pad is excellent for high-impact walking on hard surfaces. The Trimming Challenge: The biggest downside to these is the customization process. Because they are designed to be "Heavy Duty," the material is thick and very dense—especially around the reinforced heel and arch. - The Struggle: It was surprisingly hard to trim these down to fit my shoes. Standard kitchen scissors struggled to get a clean edge, and it took a significant amount of hand strength to get through the material. - Pro Tip: If you have them, use heavy-duty craft shears or a very sharp utility knife. Don't expect to breeze through it with regular office scissors. Fit in Shoes: Because these are "Big & Tall" and designed for wide feet, they take up a lot of volume inside the shoe. - Fit Tip: You almost certainly need to remove your shoe’s original factory insole to make these fit.
