There’s plenty of info available on and offline regarding these vitamins and their beneficial health effects. A few doctors and nutritionists are now even suggesting that supplementing with these vitamins is essential especially if you are of a certain age and particularly if you live in the northern hemisphere.These D3 + K2 tablets from PlusVive are made in Germany and appear to be of the highest quality, Non-GMO and suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Easy to swallow, small sized tablets are a good strength at 50 µg of D3, and 100µg of K2 which is about the optimum dose of this vitamin.For 180 tablets these are truly outstanding value at just £8.71 (at the time of this review), less than 5p each per day. Much better value than what we would normally have to pay, we will definitely be staying with this brand when our current supply runs out.

I always suffer from low vitamin D during the winter months so always tend to take a supplement. These also contain magnesium, Caprylic acid (whatever that is) and vitamin K2. I don't know if I actually needs those or not.Anyway, these are fairly large tablets so if you struggle to swallow medication then probably best to avoid. They also seem very pricey.

The vitamin D is in a high dose (4,000 i.u.) and if you don't think you need so much you can take one every 2-4 days as it is well retained by the body and doesn't do any harm in this sort of quantity.The issue for me, as with all supplements, is whether the source can be trusted.After writing a few thousand reviews for Amazon, and often delving into information from Companies House, I have developed a nose for people packaging unregulated products imported from China trying to look western. This one looks slightly suspicious, but, the formulation is unusual and fairly sensible, suggesting that they have at least one qualified person thinking about it. So, has it been inspected and certified up to the UK's strict standards? It's probably safe but there's no way of knowing for sure. If you don't want to take the chance, I would go with the Amfit product from Amazon which is probably trustworthy.Note to manufacturer: if you send me some details of the company Ii will be happy to look into this further and update.

I will use the capsules until I run out because I've paid. But I won't purchase again. Due to their size they are difficult to swallow and I am frustrated at the feeling of having a lump in my throat on more days than not. I have no history of such issues with other supplements/medications.
