FoamRush 5" x 24" x 24" Upholstery Foam Cushion High Density (Square Foam for Dining Chairs, Chair & Wheelchair Seat Cushion Replacement)

We had a neighbor that gifted our son a living room set for his new place. Since he and his roommates found a place to rent, they just needed furniture. The sofa was used and one cushion smelled bad (she had pets). We cleaned the lining but had to throw away the filling. This filling fit like a glove and made the cushion better than the original. It’s nice and firm.

Feels great to sit on. No smell, white color- got 5 inch thickness to replace sofa seats. They cut easy. I hope the are durable! So far ok.

The packaging of the foam was off the wall. There was so much tightly wrapped plastic around the foam that it took ten minutes to get to the foam itself. Cutting was simply with a scissor and it stayed in place when closing the cushion.That said, the foam is good quality and should last a long time. It's got good bounce back when depressed, sat flat on the springs of the couch, and was quite firm when sat upon.

I tried buying new cushions for my large patio chairs, but the quality out there for a set of patio cushions is terrible and expensive. I kept paying more and getting nothing more for my money. As soon as I sat on the cushion it sinks to a pancake. NO Thank You...so I decided to just find replacement cushion inserts and purchase separate covers and try creating my own set instead. I bought one of these cushions as a test in the 24 x 24 with 5 inch size. Very pleased that it is firm, comfortable and does not collapse to nothing like those other ones did.

Long review to explain how I put new foam in my cushions, hope it’s helpful.Had to floof up 2 seat cushions from 2 Lazyboy chairs that were 5 years old, they get a lot of use. I measured and remeasured the existing foam and it was 5 inches high, I ordered 5x24x24 to cut to size. My cushions have a slight curve to the front, so don’t just measure from corner to corner. The batting will add another inch or less to poof it and provide a barrier between foam and fabric.The cushion came vacuum sealed and took a lot to carefully unpack it. The cushion didn’t take ANY time at all to get its shape back.I traced the old foam, cut it with a bread knife, added batting (I found some quilt batting (vs buying Dacron$$$) from JoAnn fabrics that wasn’t as thick as the original (but I only needed 3 yards total) so I kept the old batting and put them on top of each other.I bought some stinky “foam to fabric “spray from JoAnns, to adhere batting to foam and the 2 layers of batting to each other. It was just ok. Spray it outside!!I let the cushions air out overnight and most of the smell dissipated.Flip the original cushion covers inside out to get them back on and voila!The density is perfect for sitting, you realize then how much the old foam had compressed.So for about $30 per cushion feels like a brand new chair!!

We used this product as a spacer for our RV queen size mattress to give our bed a longer length. My husband is tall. We needed a 6" addition to our short queen size mattress. We will be cutting the 6x24x24 for the width of our platform bed in our RV.

This fit perfect in my couch seat that I needed to add height to so I could get up from sitting easier on my fractured knee and wasn't so low. I also had to sit for long hours working with a laptop and it was very comfortable with just a pillow under me. The bottom is firm to not get mashed and the blue topping is comfortable like a memory foam top. Did the job just like I had hoped! I was so happy and has helped my situation.

Feels like I purchased a new couch. I will be ordering one more for the 3rd cushion, but wanted to see how it was before I ordered another one.

Exact size. Fit perfectly into my cushions. Density it high quality.
