So Far So Good! Great Value for 30A output.
Some other reviewers had mentioned that some of the 10 amp and 20 amp versions were DOA, so I tested mine right away! It was working good as soon as I hooked it up. I have been running it non-stop with a 9.5 amp load for just about an hour now and the unit isn't even hot! The cooling fan has not kicked on yet, but that is fine because the whole thing is barely above room temp. I will definitely report back if unit fails in the near future. BTW, a quick voltage check, with load, gave the following results while adjusting the on board potentiometer : Ccw turn brought the voltage all the way down to 10.0 volts. Cw turn took the voltage all the way up to 15.04 volts. One con, the front left corner is slightly bent in, see pic, top left.

Good, light weight yet powerful
I use this to run an automobile tire pump that I measured draws 30 A at start up and 20 A continuous. This runs the pump just fine. The pump is a little bit slow to start if I have the pump hose connected to a already inflated tire, however the trick for that is just to start your pump first then connect the hose right afterwards. That way you don’t draw as much energy at start up.This power supply is very light weight and the chassis is lightweight metal, but it’s good enough for what I am doing, quietly puts out a lot of current and makes no noise.

Great value for a great item
I've bought 15 of this style of power supply for different jobs. Some running 24/7. I have have not one of these have fail yet. These are great a great item and would highly recommend them. The only issue you may have is if you are pushing the 30a limit.I did a search for what I bought and this is what came up. So far, so good! It appears to work fine.
So far, so good! It appears to work fine.Right now I am running a ham radio that draws up to 15 amps. I keyed down in maximum power until it timed out in 3 minutes. The power supply is still running cool without the fan activating. It registered 11.8 volts when I received it so I did have to adjust the voltage, but the pot is well marked and easy to adjust. I turned it up to 14.5 volts to see how high it would go, then I trimmed it back down to 13 volts even.Looking through the slots in the case, I saw a 6.5 amp fuse on the AC hot lead. I probably still should have fused the line, but I didn't. Hopefully, it won't be letting the smoke out.It has three screw connectors for the 12v output, a case ground that isn't connected to either the DC or AC terminals, and the two connectors for the AC, one marked L and the other N. The L side is fused with a 6.5v fuse. I connected a power cord I cut from an appliance that died and plugged it into a power strip with a switch so I can turn the supply on and off.I haven't heard any noise in my radio from it, but I'm only running VHF FM on it right now.Left on and with the radio turned off, it draws 4.3-4.4 watts, .07 amps. With my radio at maximum power and keyed down, it draws 143 watts.THIS POWER SUPPLY IS NOT SAFE AROUND CHILDREN ! ! ! !The AC power is connected to open terminals. There is an orange plastic cover that folds over and snaps shut to cover the terminals, but it's not secure enough to prevent little hands from contacting the AC Power input. It's an industrial part meant to be installed inside electronic equipment. So, keep this in mind when you use it.I like the power supply. If it had included an electrical safety sticker, I'd have given it 5 stars, but combined with no instructions (not that it isn't easy enough to figure out) I give it 4 stars.Today is day one using it, so I'll update this review if I have problems. Also, several reviewers commented about loose screws being inside. Mine seems perfect. I didn't open the case, but shook it violently to see if anything was loose and didn't hear or feel anything rattling around in it.*** I added some pictures of it in use. The first is next to my radio. This power supply is pretty small. The next three show the terminal connectors and the plastic cover opened and closed. On the far right are the AC connectors. You can see that my finger could easily touch one or both at the same time.

Great for running diesel heater.
I wired this up with quick disconnect plugs to drive diesel heater. Use the diesel heater to heat my garage during the super freezing temp we had in Feb 2021. The diesel heater requires 12 volts. This worked perfect. I had been running the heater on 12 volt car battery. I now use the battery for standby. I also used it to build so me 12v led strings for my truck. I soldered the wires to the led strips and use the Power Supply verify the connections and that the leds would light. I have bought two of these 12v 30 amp power supplies. I have two diesel heaters and will be putting one diesel heater and power supply in cargo trailer. I will also power 12v MaxxFan Ventilator in the cargo trailer.

Excellent value psu!
Update: My power supply has now been running perfectly for 3.5 years now, with no issues whatsoever and it has been well used. This is a great buy!I won't go into great detail about this power supply as plenty of others have done so on here already....but i can definitely confirm they are great in long-term use. I bought mine over 2.5 years ago and it has been in daily use (at least 8 hours per day) every day, weekends included, since then and it has never given me a single issue. I call that fantastic reliability! Five stars from this user!
