I tried this on a whim because I used to use it way back in the day. Or something similar to it. But I've since developed a fragrance allergy. So I had to stop. This product is so great. I have dreadlocks, so I do not wash my hair every week. But I can wash my hair with this once and it keeps the flakes at Bay for 3 weeks at minimum. It doesn't itch. It doesn't flake. My scalp does not dry out. I suggest giving it a try if you were desperate like I was. There's no fragrance that I can detect. My scalp has no allergic reaction to any fragrance. It does not dry my hair out, it actually makes my hair feel more moisturized. And a little goes a long way.
