Most safes of this variety--small, inexpensive, a keypad that's really just a sticker attached to a cord, a little emergency key--seem to be quite unsecure. If you forget your combination and lose the keys to one of those safes, you can bypass the locking mechanism and get it open via several quick and fairly easy means.But not this Voncabay safe. I locked myself out of it and couldn't locate the keys, so I tried various methods that usually would work. None of them did. I finally had either to wait several days for a new key to arrive (time I don't have because my meds were in the thing), call a locksmith (who would charge more to open it than it would cost to buy a new one), or find some way to open it. So I used a hammer.The material of the thing is surprisingly sturdy, so it took a lot of hard hammering, but I finally managed to smash the door open enough to get my meds out.In short, this little safe is a secure place to put something. Whatever you put in there will stay unless someone knows the combination or has the key. No one will be able to just come along and casually open it like Fonzi smacking the jukebox to make it play. And if you truly want to keep things secure, affix the safe to a bookcase, dresser, table, or wherever so that any would-be thief couldn't just pick it up, carry it off, and hammer it to death.

Very nice for the price, small... fits a smaller handgun or the size of a quart ball mason jar? Large enough for small personal effects or medicine if you're in a home with children

A very nice little safe. Being little is my only issue. I needed it for something specific which does not fit inside. I do still have a purpose for it. Pretty pink, well made and easy to set the combination. It's a bit heavy but not too much. It shows how to mount it but I not going to do that. I'm not sure if it's waterproof.

its a bit small but cash fits well in it, i imagine jewelry fits well too, i would say the inside is as a bit longer than a bill both ways. for the price its really deal. it does feel a bit light. the sensor light isnt really that bright and kind of only lights up half the side, ive opened it in the dark before and i could barely see inside

The instructions are very easy and straightforward, I set it up without reading them. The noise it makes when you press the buttons is very loud which is not a problem for me, but if you are considering on making this purchase, know that it beeps loud. It’s also is a bit heavier on the front than the back, but it is sturdy and does not tip at all. Not a concern of mine.

Day one. Cracking and chipping paint. Looks used, Cant even get into it. No keys. Think it was used.
