This light has a lot to offer re: flexibility. Yes, the mounts of the actual lamp panels can tilt and pan and bend, but the light module is flexible in its mounting options: it has a female thread to fit a standard camera tripod. It also has a sturdy hook that folds out, and magnets to mount to a metal surface. Unfortunately the magnets aren't really strong enough to hold the light module securely. Probably a space issue.The lighting quality is quite good, I thought the "warm" white wouldn't be warm enough (I'm more of a 2700K man myself) but it looks good to me. And if you want that jewelry store-grade lighting, you can set it to 6500K!The tripod is light-duty but plenty sturdy for the light module, it has a male standard tripod thread, and two adjustable-length sections. I've found the light holds a charge well and when set on level 2 or 3 brightness, lasts a good amount of time. After a long usage on level 3, the panels were cool to the touch, just what you expect with LEDs.It all packs into a convenient carrying case although I'm not sure how long it would last in a busy/work environment. The zipper is basic quality, but that's not where your money is going on this unit. Probably best to get a 3rd party carrying case when using in a professional setting.Excellent bang for the buck especially with the current coupon offer.EDIT: recently I mounted the light via magnets to a galvanized metal duct, with the light fully upside down. It held OK but I'm not sure it would stay in place if hit or disturbed.

This was the best birthday gift for my dad this year. This light has so many different uses it was definitely worth the price. It has 3 different light colors to select from, warm, cool, and white (blindingly bright). The battery life is amazing! We used it for a couple hours while grilling out after it had gotten dark and it still showed almost full charge. The tripod is easily dismantled and feels really solid. Having the ability to take the top light off and use it in different areas is a great design. I wanted something with many options so dad could take it anywhere with him. It's got a bottom magnet that is really strong, good for aattaching to underneath a car hood. It also has a hanging hook that extends out from the bottom if needed. All the lights swivel and rotate in whatever direction you want and they clip or lock back in when not in use for easy storage. I thought the tripod was going to be much bigger in diameter but I'm glad it's not, it all folds up neatly into about a 3 foot sized carrying bag that came with it. Very lightweight and worth every penny so far!Update: dad says he uses it for everything when it gets dark out. He said he used it for several hours one night on high brightness and the battery was still 3/4 full. The only downside is sometimes it goes into a "standby mode" where the light will dim slightly on its own after maybe 10 minutes. Not too bad, just click the light button and the brightness come back but kinda wish it had a setting for that. Every time my dad uses it I get to hear about how neat it is! I'm definitely buying myself one soon.

Light is freaking amazing. I've been using it for wiring in panels. Great battery light, great luminance. The stand it comes with is meh, but the light itself is fantastic.

I am happy with this purchase beyond words. I was planning to do some work in my attic that has no lighting at all, and knew I needed a portable work light. This light was perfect for the job. I can carry it around like a torch with the feet folded up, and it's so light that it sits on top of the insulation and manages to stay upright without alot of fuss. I was worried about the weight of the battery being at the top, but it was not a problem, and the light weight makes it easy to carry in one hand while using the other hand to hold on to whatever, when walking across the ceiling joists. Anyone who's worked in an unfinished attic knows what I am talking about. I would leave this thing on at my work spot while making several trips down and a trip to the hardware store and found that the battery was holding up nicely. It seemed to even go into a "dimmer than setting" mode when left for a long time, so I could still see it when returning but saves battery. One guy reviewed this and said it wasn't bright enough, and he may not have known that if you hit the power button multiple times when you first turn it on, it goes up in brightnes by two more steps from the intial power on setting. I love everything about this light, and have no faults I can think of, which is why I wrote this review. Okay one little tiny complaint, I wish it came in an industrial yellow, or orange color. The blue it comes in is fine, but just wouldn't be my choice for a manly tool color. Other than that, this is one of my lifetime best product purchases ever.
