How to quickly deflate and store it neatly after use?

Hi! Here is the inflating procedure： 1. Unfold the sleeping pad 2. Before inflating, close tightly the air valve on the back of the pillow 3. Open the valve on the foot pump, then pedal about 30-60s 4. Close the foot pump valve after inflation Hope you will like it!

Can you please clarify.. If I don't want the pillow, can I deflate the pillow and keep the rest of the pad inflated? thanks!

No the Pad does not have compartments. To deflate the pad you pull stopper on pillow hole and role up the pad from the pump end. To inflate the pad; stopper in at the Pillow and stopper out at the pump (other end from pillow), then use the pump to fill the pad (including the pillow).

Does this mat have an R Value to prevent body heat loss?

It has a fuzzy texture, so yes , some what of a R Value
