Thick and Sticky When First Applied Although It Ultimately Absorbs Well
I ordered this late last summer and have just now had the opportunity to use. This is a set of 3 tubes, each of which is 3 fluid ounces. The tubes are easy to carry along - I carry a tube in my pocket book which also functions as a backpack. Today I used this sunscreen as I was out in the sun on a hot, humid day. This sunscreen does apply thickly and is sticky for a while although it does absorb and leaves no residue behind ultimately. I'm fair skinned and am pleased that I did not burn. My rating is 5 stars for this sunscreen performs as expected, is great that it is divided into 3 tubes, and clings well to my skin. This is solid skin protection.

Coral Safe
This sunscreen was definitely significantly pricier than other sunscreens we were use to buying. But we were heading to Hawaii, so wanted something actually coral safe. While a lot of sunscreen are labeled "reef friendly", we found they all contained oxybenzone. There is a very light, pleasant scent to this. And my mom who has very sensitive skin had no issues with this. It isn't oily or sticky, but is thicker and tends to leave white streaks if not rubbed in very thoroughly.

Non-greasy, almost scent free
I hate to apply sun screen lotion. The main reason is that they are usually quite greasy. It doesn't feel good with sticky skin on a hot summer day. This sunscreen lotion is much less sticky and greasy. It has a very mild coconut scent. I can consider it scent free. It is SPF 30 and water resistant. It is effective for 80 minutes, the same as other sun screen lotions. It is a little pricey. I assume it is priced based on its non-greasy formula and claimed no harmful chemical ingredients.

I like it
I'm no expert on sunscreen, but I prefer to use a Zinc/mineral based sunscreen due to the concerns of chemical sunscreen and the pain that happens when you get chemical sunscreen ni your eyes.At any rate, this stuff smells fine, works fine, absorbs fine, doesn't cause any irritation.I like it.

Effective Sunscreen - Safe for You and the Environment
I feel a duty to make sure that products I use don't cause human or environmental issues so I was happy to find this product which meets both standards. It goes on smooth without the lumps and bumps of some mineral sunscreens, and doesn't feel sticky or greasy on your skin. Expect a slight slippery feeling at first, but it does blend in and eventually feels light on the skin. I also noted that it doesn't run if you sweat and it held up in both the pool and the ocean. With an SPF of 30+, you do want to make sure that you're reapplying as needed, especially if you are wiping your face a lot or using snorkel/masks/goggles. I will say this is a great sunscreen if you plan to be outside at the park, doing yard work, or looking for general sun protection. The price point is around the same as other products I've seen out there, that have chemicals you definitely want to avoid, so this felt like a relatively decent price for what you're getting, and knowing it's way safer to use than others! And lastly, I appreciate the safety seal on the inside of each bottle!**** As a product tester for Amazon, I take pride in offering honest and dependable reviews of products so that anyone thinking about purchasing this product gets a fair assessment of functionality and quality. If I find that the performance or quality of a product is reduced after I've made my initial review, I will update to reflect these changes.

Environmentally friendly, nice quality moisturizer/sunscreen
I grew up near beaches, and over time you get to learn about the harm lack of sunscreen can cause to your skin, but also about the harm use of sunscreen can cause to the aquatic ecosystem. So, I became very interested in environmentally friendly solutions, especially for trips to the actual beach. This sunscreen seems to be doing the right thing: giving a pretty decent sunscreen protection (full UVA/UVB broad spectrum protection at an SPF of 30) while having pronounceable ingredients, several certified organic, that, as per manufacturer's claims are respectful to aquatic life. What I was very pleasantly surprised with though was the moisturizing effect of this cream. It claims to be fragrance free, but it has a smell that felt familiar - when I read the ingredients list, I saw shea butter and cacao in it, which explained the familiarity. As expected of a sunscreen, it is a little bit on the heavier side, but it feels nice and natural - it is a cream that feels OK to be used on the face and is currently keeping me company on hikes when I want something heavier than my daily lower-SPF face moisturizer.Overall, very happy with the product - OK sunscreen effect for my needs so far, feels really nice on my skin and respectful for the environment, so it checks all the boxes I wanted.

Great mineral sunscreen that disappears into skin
This sunscreen is great! It’s a mineral sunscreen that goes on much more like a chemical one. It has a very mild fragrance and disappears into the skin almost perfectly. We noticed a bit of an oily texture, especially on the face, but nothing problematic. Almost no white residue was left, which is pretty amazing for a non-nanoparticle zinc sunscreen! Used it in the pool for hours and came home without any sunburns. My only complaint is the price – it’s currently almost $40 for three small tubes, which seems high even for the quality of the product.

Light-weight, facial quality sunscreen
Years ago I saw a picture of a native of northern Canada. For the photo, they had pulled his hood back from his face. The part that had been exposed to the sun was cracked and weathered; the part usually covered by his hood was young skin. From that time, I have worn sunscreen to go outside, and often a hat as well. The first mineral sunscreen products were heavy and sticky, like the zinc ointment we put on baby's bottoms. New products are lighter and easier to spread. I love the Life is Good Mineral Sunscreen. It is definitely facial quality. I put it on a dab at a time after my facial moisture, and rub it in gently. I like that it blends into my skin without looking chalky. I like that it does not burn my eyes if my fingers slip and touch my eyes. I rarely go into the ocean, but it's good to know that what I'm using would not harm the ocean wildlife.I'm very happy to learn about Life is Good sunscreen.
