I tried charging my ipad and it kept flashing on and off did not charge, does anyone why? I had to return them.

If this device is like most other chargers with multiple outputs the rate of charge decreases with each device because the 20 watt output is the total output. If you are using it to charge something like an ipad it is probably using all 20 watts for the one device.

Will this work with an august 2019 amazon fire hd 10 tablet

I don't recommend this "Amazon's Choice" product. It is not a fast charger and I had problems with my devices. Returning them tomorrow and ordering the OEM product.
