The panels were separated from each other with foam sheets in addition to being covered with clear film. Helped by a detailed instruction sheet, and a provided pair of cotton-like gloves to prevent finger prints, assembly came together beautifully. One very helpful feature was a corner tab on each of the panel's film coverings to make removing the covering easy (see photo). The end result holds together well because of the small corner screw assemblies that anchor the panels together (securing the tiny screws was a bit tricky, but it got easier with practice).
