THE INSIDE CURVE
VERY USEFUL, NO NOTICEABLE "WOBBLE" DID A GOOD JOB CLEANING UP BANDSAW MARKS ON AN INSIDE CURVE WITH JUST A DRILL PRESS. MY ADVICE, JUST PRACTICE A LITTLE BEFORE MOVING ONTO YOUR PIECE THAT MATTERS. VERY GOOD VALUE IF YOU CAN'T JUSTIFY BUYING A STANDALONE DRUM SANDER.

Only takes 1 size of paper
It works nicely with the paper supplied. However trying it with thicker paper(40 grit) too thick. Trying 180 grit too thin and just flipped off. Bought to do 1 job so will get some 120 grit (which is what it came with), but would be better if the clamping mechanism was improved to cope with different grit papers.

Sanding drum
I bought a subwoofer box that had to small of holes how my woofer to fit in. This product saved the day

What I wanted
I've used this sanding drum several times, including for some heavy-duty bandsaw cut curves for a serving tray. It worked great and held up well. I've also used it for some quick touch-ups. As you can see in the picture, there is a ring around it in the middle of the spindle, and the bottom is worn more than the top. But because I can easily take the sandpaper off with a twist of the bolt, flip it, and put it back on to use the other half, this is not a problem. It really is easy to put the sandpaper on the spindle. Best of all, no specialty sanding drum paper is required. Great price, good quality, and it works!
