I’ve had this little green machine for about a year now and I’ve loved it the whole time. But after this last weekend I feel I need to finally write a review. If you’re on the fence about it, JUST GET IT! This Last weekend my family of 6 all got hit with what I can only describe as flupocolypse. I have done so much laundry and cleaned up so much bodily fluid and little green has been the biggest lifesaver! From the living room rugs to bedroom rugs and even my mattress, I’ve used this machine on so many different surfaces and textures and even sizes that I’m just so impressed with how easy it is to cleanup a mess. It works so well, like cleans super well and gets out stains, which also helps remove odors. I’m still recovering so I haven’t had the energy to do deep cleaning like I want to but little green is so easy to just plug in and get it done. The little hose cleaner attachment is wonderful too. My machine is always clean because they make it so easy to maintain. It’s very easily portable to carry anywhere I have needed it. And on an unrelated incident, while still sick, I had to clean a spill out of my car and it took my 5 minutes to get it cleaned, that time includes grabbing the extension cord from the garage, actual cleaning, and then putting it away. I love this machine. Buy it, don’t hesitate!

My pups having bouts of diarrhea is always awful, but this cleaner makes it SO much easier. It's easy to use, portable, and stores neatly in my cleaning closet. The cleaning solutions it comes with are fantastic, and it does a hell of a job. It is a little loud, but not having poop-stained carpet in my rental home is so worth it. Plus, no strange odors when using it, or after use. Definitely recommend.

I'm not sure what I was expecting... maybe a miracle. Did not get the old stains out of the carpet, granted these were already months old and previous attempts were already made at it. The vacuum was not as easy to use as I thought it would be. It was bulky and cumbersome to hold and tote around. The tubing kept coming off the base as I moved it around the house for storage. Setting up the tank for use, once filled with warm solution, did not seal fully/sprayed out as I turned it over to place it in the base. I suspect this isn't an issue if you use plain room temperature water. The clean solution tank did not leak once it was fixed to the base, but yea, you won't want to do that prep just anywhere. The vacuum suction itself seemed adequate but not super powerful... I did have a wet spot on my carpet and I did end up just putting a fan over it for a few hours. To pick up any stains (or liquid) you have to move the handheld attachment and move it over VERY SLOWLY. Afterwards, cleaning the machine seems pretty easy on first use, however, I don't like having to figure out where to store the attachments. That said the build quality on the machine seems to be BISSELL good. Four stars because it does vacuum and spray and do all the things, 1 star removed for having to manage bulky attachments separately (no storage solution), leaking a bit during setup (following warm water instructions) and not performing the stain removal. :P

25Jul24 Update - I used it on my stairs. First I used my big Shop Vac to get at all possible loose dirt. Yes I balanced my large shop vac on the stairs as I vacuum each carpeted step. My shop vac suction is far greater than any standard vacuum so I figured okay it should not be that dirty with using the Little Green. I WAS WRONG! The little green worked great as the water was like brown sewage water. I was like wow that's a lot of dirt that was in the carpet fiber that my shop vac didn't get. I'm impressed. Now the only caution I would mention is that when on it is loud it was in the range of 87-88 decibels to which 80 is considered loud noise. Because in use you are as close to it I would suggest ear plugs. Keep in mind that typical upright vacuum cleaners are also in that range as well but you are closer to the little green as you are using the hand held brush head. There is also an attachment called hydro rinse that works well to rinse clean the machine hose etc after using the machine. That works great and helps clean the machine for your next use. I like that they have this. Overall I'm happy with this replacement unit and is working great. 24Jul24 Update - I received the replacement unit but it did also remind me that the hatprevious unit that I received not only had the crimped hose but that it also had water droplets in the tank. So was that a repackaged one that I originally received? Cause the replacement one is a different box and it's tanks are dry. Will update you on how it works on my carpeted stairs. Original Review - I needed it to work on cat pee stains in the carpet and bed mattress. But.....it came with a crimped hose that was bent on how they had it in the box. Didn't really think anything about it but in use it resulted in poor performance. So what happens with the bent hose is that at that bent it starts to suction close on itself so there is little to no suction at the head. That was so terrible. So sending it back for replacement. Bissell folks please relook on how everything is packed in the box cause it is causing this bent/crimped hose. Or make the box bigger so this doesn't happen in the way it's packed. Otherwise will update how it works when zI get the replacement. I havealso the traditional Bissell carpet cleaner which I love so I want this portable to supplement or use instead of the big carpet cleaner unit when I only want to spot clean for cat pee, etc.

A tiny, inexpensive component, likely worth less than a dollar, has effectively turned a $110 machine into landfill waste. Here’s the real problem: that gasket is not available as a replacement part. Not from the manufacturer, not through official channels. Nowhere. So instead of a simple, logical repair, the only “solution” is to throw the entire unit away and buy a new one. That’s unacceptable. This isn’t just about inconvenience. It’s about design philosophy. Products like this should be built with basic serviceability in mind. When a single wear component fails, especially something as trivial as a gasket, there should be a clear and supported path to repair. The fact that there isn’t speaks volumes. For a company that markets heavily around pet ownership and everyday messes, Bissell should understand that longevity matters. Customers don’t expect these machines to last forever, but they do expect them to be fixable when predictable wear-and-tear occurs. Instead, this feels like a disposable product disguised as a durable appliance. If you care about sustainability, reducing waste, or supporting the right-to-repair movement, this is not a product you should feel good about owning. It worked... until it didn’t. And when it failed, it failed in a way that was entirely preventable. A $0.50 gasket shouldn’t decide the fate of a $110 machine. Yet here we are. I won’t be buying another.

have two French bulldogs, and one of them is constantly throwing up, so this machine gets used more than I would like to admit. The Bissell Little Green Pet Deluxe has been a lifesaver in my house. When they were puppies, we dealt with the occasional pee pee accidents and it worked great during that stage, but now it is mostly for surprise messes on carpet and upholstery. It pulls up stains quickly and makes everything feel truly clean instead of just surface treated. One feature I really like is the attachment that keeps the really dirty water contained in a smaller compartment instead of running everything through the entire hose into the larger tank. When you are cleaning up something especially gross, that detail makes a difference. It is also lightweight and easy to carry from room to room, so I can grab it fast and handle a mess before it sets in. If you have pets, especially small dogs, this is absolutely worth having on hand.

Ok. So this thing is fabulous. I have a cat that seems to want to throw up when he doesn’t like a food. I have beautiful Karastan wall to wall carpet. And 2 days ago, I was 1/2” away from just letting him out the door. (He’s an inside cat.) I opted to buy this machine instead. Works great. Very powerful. It has this little attachment that keeps nasty dirt from going into the main compartment. Impressed! The cat is staying. 😂 Bought the BISSELL Little Green Portable Pet Deluxe.
