Our 3-year-old can’t stop playing
I bought this thinking it would be a “once in a while” game. Nope. Our 3-year-old is OBSESSED. The suspense of that one cube finally falling is basically toddler adrenaline. It takes like 30 seconds to set up, no batteries, no loud beeping, just pure penguin-panic joy. The best part? It’s actually fun for adults too (even though I pretend I’m “letting them win”). Great rainy day game, great grandparent game, great “coffee break before someone asks for a snack” game. If you have a kid who loves to hammer stuff and yell “UH OH!”… just get it.

Fun easy to play game
Bought this to use for my students to play with during indoor recess. They love the game and it's very easy for them to use by themselves. Definitely a classic game to play!

Fun simple game of skill and chance.
Fun game from my childhood. Not quite the same build quality but close enough.

Can not recommend this game enough. Worth every penny. Buy it!
The only downside is that I wish the little ice hammers/picks had a round handle instead of a flat one. That is on the game developer, though, not the seller, and is all about my personal arthritic and sensory preferences. You could easily switch to a little toy hammer or gavel that has a head about the same size, if that is bothersome to you as well. Now to why I give this game FIVE STARS and recommend it wholeheartedly: I had never heard of this game until my son's occupational therapist brought it into a session. He immediately was fascinated, and did so well with patiently taking turns at the game, and waiting while she set it up, that I my throat got tight. I knew that I wanted to have this game at home. It is excellent for what is called proprioceptive input. So if you have a child that is sensory seeking, I highly recommend this game. It gives them the chance to satisfy that nervous system need for sensory input, so that they are able to be more gentle with other things that aren't literally a banging-on-things game later on. The goal of the game is that you DON'T break the ice, so with that goal in mind, it also exercises their impulse control. If you are working with your child(ren) on taking turns and waiting their turn, that is another life skill (ADL/activity of daily living) goal that can be reached in a way that satisfies the needs of their brains and nervous systems. This is also a STEM toy, in that it is a fun demonstration of how pressure works to hold things in place, just like how arches stay in place with help of a center stone. So yes, I give it all the stars and wanted to hop on here and sing the praises of this children's game. LOL
