Hello everyone. Today I got the Aelec SoundtorchBluetooth speaker andI couldn't have been more excited! I love Aelec products and their customer service seems superb! Anyways I'm going totry to make my review a good read while keeping it short and sweet.First of all Aelec packaged this SoundTorch very well. The packaging is actually quite attractive and makes it seem like a high quality product. The speaker is packed nicely and securely within the box and includes a micro USB charger and Aux cable. The speaker is very lightweight, and similar in size to other popular bluetooth speakers, but just as nice. This speaker is nicely built and has a good feel in the hand, feels durable.Powering on and connecting the speaker was a breeze by simply holding the power button. It was easy for immediate pairing wih my iphone and my computer bluetooth enabled devices. I started to play some rock songs and was impressed by the sound.The speaker was quite loud and bass was clear at max volume. Bass is quite nice and it is clear and not hollow soundingI I've provided some pictures to give you a better idea of what it looks like. This Aelec speaker sounded good at max volume and was quite clear, though I use it at 80 percent. We're talking maybe a few clicks lower on the volume scale. This speaker is an attractive speaker and it sounds very nice compared to its price point. I hooked up the SoundTorch, and I had no connectivity issues so far. I was easily able to play my songs from far away, which was about 3 feet away, paired with this speaker.Overall this is a nice speaker and built well. This is a good brand and priced well. I purchased this to have in my room so that I can listen to music while falling asleep for the night. This is a good size speaker that is super easy to use. You have several different options to play your music. You can either connect via a bluetooth connect, auxiliary cord, or insert a memory card. It has a simple on and off switch on the side which I like because I find some of the multipurpose buttons difficult to use at times. The top portion of the speaker has buttons for volume, play/pause, track forward or backward as well as a button that is marked with an M. The M button you can use to change your input type as you please when using the speaker. The speaker knows what you are using when you turn it on. If it is powered on and an auxiliary cable connected it will announce AUX mode, if nothing is connected Bluetooth mode is announced. My phone picked up the speaker in seconds with no complicated pairing process needed. It has an excellent range of sound as I was moving around my house with my phone while leaving the speaker in place to see how far I could move before losing a connection. I was able to move around 30 feet away with no pauses or connection loss between the two devices. The sound quality is what I would expect from a high end speaker system so for me the sound is impressive. My favorite thing really is the sound quality and the ease of use. The speaker itself is all black in color and has a top and bottom that is a rougher type of rubber material that helps it to stay in place and not scratch your wood tables which is another thing I like. I am very happy with the speaker and have been using it every night now to fall asleep too. You do get an auxiliary cable *double ended) and a USB charging cable in the box as well. Detailed instruction book educates you on the use of the speaker, however, it is really simple to use and I did not require the use of the instructions.

A really good little unit -- one of the things my Wife likes about it is that it has separate buttons for the various functions. Some of the units that have multi-function buttons are a bit of a pain to use. Nice sound, but without much bass, and it plays for a LONG time between charges...

I really researched before I purchased this product - there are so many choices out there it is unbelievable!!! I read ALL the reviews, compared different items and carefully chose this product. WOW!! It is small, fits in my small hand but does it have a punch!!! The sound is great - not staticky or tinny or distorted at all at full volume. Others I looked at didn't offer much bass but this one did and it delivered. It can be connected with a second unit for stereo sound and 40 Watts of bass ( if I am explaining this correctly - not exactly the most technical person here). As soon as I heard the quality of the sound I jumped right back on Amazon and ordered a second one - just received it by the way. The unit is small, easily portable, super easy to sync with bluetooth or play with SD card, directions are super simple. If you are looking for something small, affordable, great quality, adaptable, easy to operate, awesome sound THIS IS IT!

It’s a decent little speaker as long as you keep it away from water. I never had it anywhere near water until the other night. I decided that since it’s is water resistant I would set it near my shower one time. It got splashed and this is the result. It rusted right away. They shouldn’t advertise that it’s resistant to water because that’s clearly not the case. Keep in mind that I only tried this once and not much water hit it at all.Otherwise it’s an okay speaker. Just not durable.

This speaker for it's size is hands down the best value. Sound is exceptional, I work at a grocery 9 hours a day, and have actually used it for three days in a row. It has never died on me. Also the bluetooth mode has some serious reach, I have a bedroom upstairs and a Alexa dot in my room, I can connect the Bluetooth and use it downstairs in my kitchen. I don't usually write reviews but this had to be done. The speaker only weighs about 8oz and puts out a serious 10 watts, and since I work in a cooler the option of the SD card is phenomenal as I have no wifi. I had a sharkk and I got about 5 hours of life. This is by far a better performing speaker in all catorgories. By the way someone stoled my first one, bought a new one the same night. Cannot recommend it enough.
