Gun Tote'n Mamas Pleated Slouch Bag

The purse itself is extremely well made. Beautiful soft leather and feels very secure. I have three issues that are, unfortunately, becoming more irritating every day. First, the extremely well made handles which appear to be backed with material that would make it almost impossible for someone to razor cut the straps to steal the purse are very stiff and don't overlap easily for over the shoulder wear. Second, the openings for the main body of the purse are very small and difficult to reach into,or to pull a wallet out of. Again, awesome security feature as the very small openings and magnetic clasp closures make it nigh impossible for someone to reach into your purse without your knowledge, but very irritating if you are juggling packages or a kid on a hip and trying to get that wallet out at the cash register. Third, the holster that is included is much too large for a compact sized pistol. Something the size of a .380 or very small 9 mm for example would just fall out of the holster during regular daily usage . This causes the gun to be upside down and to fall out of the purse when it is unzipped. A larger pistol would fit just fine. So I am left with a beautiful, well made and very secure leather purse that is designed for concealed carry, that I wrestle with on a daily basis because I love it so much that I don't want to change purses, but I can't get to my wallet easily, carry on my shoulder easily, or even use for Concealed Carry because any gun that I might have would not be able to be carried in a safe manner.

This purse hung on my closet door knob for at least three weeks before I decided to start using it and not send it back. I had read some negative reviews and was a little over cautious, but I REALLY AM HAPPY with this purse. It has a nice feminine look to it. The firearm is carry alone in the center of the purse and easily accessible should I ever need it quickly, yet in such a safe place that it's not easily accessible to others. There are front and back pockets that have a good and strong magnet that automatically closes easily. There is also a zipper pocket on the outside of the back compartment of the purse which is a great place for me to keep my cell phone. This purse has just enough room for what I need to carry. I am very, very please with it. There were negative comments about not being able to easily access the pockets to retrieve your wallet, as well as a complaint about the shoulder straps flopping off because they are stiff but I didn't have any problems getting to my items in the front or back pockets and my old purses had issues with one of the straps flopping down, so I don't think that's a biggie. I seriously don't think it is necessary to have "slice proof" straps on this purse but there may be some women who would absolutely want that. Thanks Gun Tote'n Mamas for a great purse.

This ourse is fabulous! It was used and rated in good condition. Took a chance and it was in New condition! Love the holster velcroed in the gun compartment. Beautiful leather and plenty of room for all the other items I normally carry in my purse! Very well made!! I highly recommend the Gun Tote'n Mamas' purses. Easy access to your gun but no one will ever know you are packing! Top quality!

Love the style, haven’t used it as a firearm holder as of yet, but it’s there when I need it.

I'm concerned that the one strap will constantly fall of my shoulder. I like the style and construction but almost returned it because of the straps. I've been trying to think of ways to alter the straps so they both stay together on my shoulder.

Great product! This is a beautiful leather purse and I love that you place you gun in the middle of the purse so no impressions of your weapon show through over time. You have to get used to putting your other essentials in the two outer areas, but this is a minor inconvenience in my opinion.

I love this purse!! I have a Ruger LC9 that fits perfectly in the holster and is very secure inside. This has a very nice design and the leather is soft and pliable. I appreciate that it is both stylish and functionable. There is also plenty of room to care everything that I need.

Great bag. It arrived quickly. The holster pocket is large enough for a full frame piece. I love that the holster pocket is in the center of the purse. This helps the bag to stay balanced when setting it down, protects the gun, and prevents imprint/impression on the leather over time.
