Reliable Workhorse; Great Value for Contact Center Use.
Solid, dependable choice. I use these regularly for my contact center operations and keep buying replacements as needed. They’re comfortable enough for long shifts, the audio quality is clear for both calls and meetings, and the microphone does a good job picking up voice without too much background noise. Build quality is strong for the price point, and they hold up well under daily use. Great balance of quality, comfort, and affordability; exactly what you need in a work headset.

A solid performance for it's price
The Logitech H390 Wired Headset is a reliable a d budget- friendly option that gets the job done without any fuss. The sound is clear, the noise-cancelling microphone works well for calls, and the plug-and-play setup makes it super easy to use right away. It's comfortable enough for long sessions. Whether you're working, teaching online, or in meetings. Overall, it's a solid, no-hassle Headset that offers great value for everyday use.

Good
Not a bad piece of equipment. Somewhat comfortable. Clarity is excellent when it comes to sound and the mic is very good. Haven't had any issue regarding call quality. The only down side is if you wear glasses it could be uncomfortable and frequent adjustment might be needed in order to not end up with an ear ache.

Good headset at a great price
Bought these for a Zoom training course at work and they’re great! Plugged the usb in and worked like a charm. Sound is clear with adjustable volume and ptt. After a couple hours wearing them I kinda wished there was more ear padding but that’s likely on me just not being used to them. Regardless, a good headset at a great price.

Great value.
I bought this as a back up for travel and when my wireless headset needs charging. Corded headsets are convenient that way. Pros: Excellent Value. Clear sound. Convenient Controls: In-line volume and mute buttons are easy to reach during calls. Cons: Comfort Limitations: While it has padded ear cups, on-ear design becomes uncomfortable after more than 60–90 minutes of continuous wear. Still would buy again when it comes time to replace it in a few years. That's the other pro. This brand gives me quite a few a years of use.

Great value
This is an excellent headset. I work from home and spend most of my day in Teams meetings, so I need something reliable, comfortable, easy to use, and capable of blocking out background noise (cats, kids, garbage trucks—you name it). I previously checked Wirecutter and purchased the Jabra Evolve2 50, but it was very unreliable for me. There’s nothing worse than speaking during a meeting and having your wired headset suddenly not be detected. I never even had that issue with the inexpensive company-issued headsets I used before. After that happened several times, I decided enough was enough and gave these $15.99 (!!) headsets a try based on the positive reviews. They’ve worked amazingly well so far, honestly, much better than the $200 Jabra headset they replaced. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I don’t run into detection issues later, but even if I did, at this price point, they’re still a great value.

Disappointed
As soon as I extricated the headset from its hermetically sealed tamper proof customer proof space age clear plastic prison using a sharp stainless steel tool and surgical precision so as not to damage the contents or hurt myself (deep breath) I noted the following: 1) The plastic molding of the body of the headset and the microphone boom has extensive continuous sharp edges. These edges are not sharp enough to cut bread, but are sharp enough to be alarming when the headset is handled. They could cut cheese. Note to designer: There should be no sharp edges on my head. Unless perhaps if the dual use purpose is as a ninja star for protection in dangerous office environments. Then I plugged it in: 2) The large mute button has a pinhole size light to indicate when the headset is in use. It blinks when it is on mute. The light is tiny and dim, and not easily visible when viewed at an angle. Note to designer: After the speakers and the microphone, the mute button is the most important feature on the headset. It is used very often. It is imperative that the user can determine quickly with no doubt when it is engaged. It should be a large bright indicator light viewable from all angles and from a distance. When someone puts the headset on mute there is a REASON. They must have certainty under all conditions. When I look down to see if I am on mute (I can't hear that I am on mute) I want a fast unambiguous answer at any angle. I don't want to have to position the light. Sometimes I leave my desk temporarily while a conference call continues and then I look back to make certain my headset is on mute. This is going to be very difficult with this design. Perhaps you could have a little dim pinhole light to indicate the headset is plugged in (possibly a different color). Please don't make it blink to indicate mute. I want instantaneous information. I don't want to process blinking. Function should always dictate design. Beauty is functional, not a first impression. 3) The USB plug is oversized. I assume this was an attempt to cram all the electronics into one place. The problem is that the plug is effectively 75% longer than normal and therefore exerts exponentially more leverage on the USB socket when the wire is moved. Anything attached to people might move (people move). This makes the plug appear almost loose as it effortlessly wiggles around. The result is needless wear and tear on the socket. Note to designer: put the electronics in a separate container further up the wire. It is not as elegant, but the USB plug and socket will not wear and break from excessive forces. Things that work and are always reliable (do not break themselves or hurt other things) are truly beautiful. 4) The impressively well made ear pieces, with synthetic padded ear cushions make my ears perspire. I much prefer the inexpensive breathable foam covers on my old headset, which I can replace when they wear out. On the new headset the loop that rests on the top of the head is also well padded. All this padding is probably only necessary because of the added weight of the padding itself. Both headsets are just as comfortable except for the fact the new ones leave my ears damp. Note to designer: beauty is felt as well as seen. Better to feel good than look good. Other than what I have written above, the headset seems very nice. As to how they sound, I'll leave that to others to comment on. My old Plantronics headset sounds fantastic so I expect just as much from this one, that is a given. There is far too much attention paid and time spent discussing incremental improvements in sound that few people will notice or care about. The ergonomic design is the issue. Paradoxically, my old headset is, as a practical matter, much better than this new one. Unfortunately, it was discontinued several years ago and I cannot buy it anymore. I am not nostalgic or sentimental, just stating the facts. Fortunately, years ago I bought ten or twelve pairs (mostly for people in my office) and kept several pairs for myself. They were about $50 per pair back then. I have one left that I am using and will continue to use until it breaks. My headset is used heavily all day long, every business day. When it breaks I will use the new pair (maybe). Unfortunately, the new Logitech pair and another new Plantronics pair I just bought (with its own serious design flaw) were the closest in design to the tried and true Plantronics pair I am currently using. The state of the art has moved backwards. It was near perfect a few years back, and since then the designers seem to be making work for themselves by doing the equivalent of painting a mustache on the Mona Lisa or leprechauns in the Sistine Chapel. I would pay $50 today to buy a new pair of my old headset simply because everything about the design is correct - and today it would probably only need to cost half that much. Update: After using this headset for several months, I can say the speaker and microphone quality are good - as expected. However, I had to tape the wire to the microphone boom to prevent it from constantly sliding across the aforementioned sharp edges of the boom and making a wicked scraping sound like a demonic violin. This sound was very audible to the listener at the other end but not so much to me. It played every time I moved. This was a consequence of the design. The wire emanates from under the left ear piece between the ear cushion and the microphone boom. If it is plugged into a port to the left and front of the user, it will transverse the top of the boom and make an evil hiss. Taping it to the outside of the boom solved the problem. In addition, both size adjustment slides needed to be taped permanently in position because the mechanism to hold them in place is too weak and it was in constant need of readjustment. So now there are three large taped areas on my new unbroken headset. As many people have indicated in their reviews, this headset can be painful when used for extended periods of time. This is due to the imbalance of compression tension with head size adjustment. The ratio is not correct for the human head. If you have a wide head, you would consider this headset a torture device. It appears no consideration was given during the engineering to the space taken by the large firm ear cushions, which ironically are supposed to make the user more comfortable. Update June, 2014: The headset has stopped working properly. The microphone goes on and off and moving the wire can generate electric crackling noise. The problem is located where the wire from the USB socket connects to the mute button. They are going in the pail.

Second pair that have snapped in the past year
I love these headphones, I love the color, I love that you can get the matching keyboard and mouse. They are comfortable and sound quality seems great. HOWEVER this is the SECOND pair in the past year that have SNAPPED on the headband above the size adjuster. I’m so disappointed, I take very good care of these, they are stored either in a case or on a stand and they are only used for work.
