Can anyone confirm with threads this system has? i've read reviews of similar products that suggest it is not npt.

This is NOT NPT threads. This valve uses British Straight Pipe threads which require a rubber o-ring to seal. These fittings are very hard to find in the U.S. The NPT fittings will thread into this valve, but you will not be able to thread them tightly enough and they will leak.

can you adjust the water pressure and also the water temerature?

you can adjust the water temperature with the bottom knob and control how it flows with the other 3. They can be slightly turned on to adjust water flow rate
