Bought this to run 2 subwoofers in my trunk and this is what I thought of this product. It was easy to put install and use (I ran it with a 1000W capacitor and 4 gauge wiring). It works as expected for a single coil, and has held up well. While it is not a dual coil (which would be a better option), it is made out of good quality material. It has been used for a couple of months now and is holding up great. We went with this product cause for the most part the reviews we found were decent. However make sure that the subwoofers you are using are in fact single coil or single coil compatible... if not then you need to upgrade to a dual coil amplifier (which I would recommend anyways). As for the brand, I have nothing but good things to say about Rockville, they are a good quality company and are putting out some good quality products! I will continue to use their products. As with any product there are a few things I didn't like, but they are not major issues...All in all a good product worth the money spent!

Nice solid amp, wish it was 1 ohm stable, went into protect mode a few times and will not reset till the entire amp is turned off, not a big deal, the only reason it will power down is because of it having to much current drawn, thus a 1 ohm stable amp would be nice for the price, I'm not running anything to large just a dvc 4ohm 18" sub, my suggestion on this to make it not go into protect (and my fault as well for having a badly wired loc, which I did fix) stay away from the bass boost, as anyone would recommend, just set the gain correctly and from there, make sure your signal is clean to that sub.

For the past 25 years I have always installed and had amps and subs and my vehicles. I had a Rockford fossgate 500 W RMS amp running at 4 Ω and my speakers were a 12" Rockford fossgate P3 and a diamond D12 I had it running parallel series 4 Ω. The amp kept overheating after about 10 minutes of play so I needed a different amp. So after being on the market for a while looking for and amp saving up money I decided to go with the Rockville DB15. And let me tell you I was not disappointed with this amp at all! I had this amp turn down gain all the way and the bass boost down all the way and as you can see in the video it is slapping those subs. And has never ever gotten hot!! I wanted to give it some time before I wrote a review so it's been a little over a month since I got the amp. Last weekend after beating my speakers for about 3 hours on a long drive ( that I do almost every weekend) I blew my diamond D12. I was a little upset about this but happy that this amp has some real power! It made me think I'm going to save up to get the Rockville K9 12s now. I've heard a lot of good things about them. Well unfortunately that night at my friend's house someone broke into my car stole my brand new Rockville amp my 2 farad capacitor and both of my subs my whole set up was gone that had taken so long to build. It's not easy when you don't make a lot of money. All I can say is that whenever I can afford to buy another system I am going Rockville all the way!!!!! I want another DB15 amp and I want some k 12's to make me the happiest person I can be ... because right now everything was stolen from me and I have no happiness in me .... thanks for reading and thanks for the awesome product Rockville!!!!!!!

I searched 6,000 amp , this one popped up an I went with it because it’s the same brand as the 4 x 6.5 subwoofers I was trying to power , description says 6,000 so I ordered it , amp showed up an says 1,500 watt . Kicks off if I turn it up .

I ordered this amp to push 1 of my 15” Invriminator Audio Death penalty performance sub. The sub is rated at 2000w RMS so obviously I can not push the amp to its limit because it would cut off like it’s supposed. I installed a 2 farad bass capacitor and am almost able to run it at its max without headlights diming when it hits. For the value it is priced at it does more than I could ask for and am very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend this amp for those who need what it offers. Sound quality is excellent and was easy to install with the installation hardware it came with (mounting screws and both size Allen wrenches for set screws).

The sound quality is off the wall amazing its better than the last amount I had.. And it was well with the money... Didn't expect it to work so well considering it was a lesser priced amp but boy does it.. And it was one of the easiestamps to install and sounds really well with the two soar 12's I have it hooked up to.. All in all it gets five stars...

It couldn’t be turned up all the way due to it going into protection mode, but maybe half way and it bumps good but it’s power hungry and needs an area too cool it good. Other than that it his good on my Orion hcca 15

If theres a better amp, i probably cant afford it. All the base i could want at half volume to a rockville 2400watt. After hours at that volume, the amp isnt even warm. I tried cranking it and at 75% volume my eyeballs were literally vibrating, it frightened me so i turned it bac down b4 i go blind. The 5 channel gets hot at half volume only hooked to 4 cheap paper alpines 45w each. I just purchased the 4 channel to try. Its slightly more powerful per channel and slightly higher htz. If it gets hot too, i will just bridge each to half the speakers. I cant imagine beating this quality and power for the price. Your gonna need more power than a vehicle has stock for the sub amp, that for sure.

Great amp. I opened it up when I got it to see how it was built. Its solid inside. Caps are glued and no flex on the board. I've been using it for about 8 months now with no issues even on hot days when the car is burning inside. I'm running 2 12" 400watt rms each @ 3ohms. Use the cea rating when your matching to your subs all the other ratings are useless. You can't run this at 1 ohm so dvc subs won't work if your running a pair.

It's a nice amp.It works well, but they advertise It as a 3000 watt rms amp, when it is only1500 rms

I used for skar subwoofer 2500w+2500 2 of them and its work for 1 day after that its still showing up power in but from controller light stop working and amplifier showing power but not working i turned off power and started again its start working and after 5mit again same thing and there is not fuse so we are not able to to change .
