you will not be disappointed on what you get for the $. does the job and nice feel and balance with reel installed. great to have option of medium or medium/heavy tips.

The rod does not fit together properly which caused it to break during a fight on small Bass. See pics in post. Will be getting a refund for sure. Also will be posting video to my YouTube Channel showing this. Mike Costello Outdoors Update- 5/25/23 after posting my video of this rod and leaving a review. Customer support contacted me right away. They are going to replace the rod and hopefully I don’t have the same issue again. I deleted the video from this review for now. I will post a updated video after I receive my replacement rod. I’m really glad they reached out so fast to me. I have purchased several of there fishing reels and have always had good luck. This was the first fishing rod I purchased though. If I have any other issues I will definitely repost initial video and updates video as well to here and my YouTube channel Mike Costello Outdoors. I ordered the wrong pole got a casting rod instead of a spinning rod my fault ill still use it.

I took this out with a Sougayilang 7.3:1 baitcaster reel and was happy with the rod. It felt great, I got a nice long cast with it. It comes with both a medium and medium-heavy rod tip which is nice. I went with the MH for now but it's nice to have that option to switch if desired. The rod looks nice, is comfortable to hold and seem sturdy. The first time out I pulled in a nice 5.8 lb largemouth bass and was as happy as a clam!

Not the best offering from this brand. The two rod ends feel identical, I can't really tell a difference and probably won't swap them out ever, as a result. The based and end also aren't super snug....it's not like the end is going to bounce off but I just feel like it leaves the chance for the top piece to spin or move depending on the cast or fight. I mean, for a $45 rod with multiple pieces it is what it is. If this were a $45 store brand I wouldn't expect as much because I would expect to be paying for brand name and instant availability. With these Amazon/Chinese brand names I almost expect MORE quality for the price because they are usually undercutting the name brand pricing. It's actually kind of a reverse thought process than you normally have when buying "cheap off brand" gear.
