Absolutely worth it!
Took hours to put it together, with not so clear instructions. But worth it!!Able to take the top off in minutes with 1 person! Sturdy, but doesnt always feel it. But, we always feel safe leaving the top after the arms are in.

Functional but a little precarious
We purchased the lift so that I’d be able to take the top off my Jeep on my own. It can be done, but is a little difficult to do without a second set of hands. In addition with the weight of the top on the lift the single mechanism that holds the top seems very stressed and causes the top to tilt slightly to one side. This could have been avoided with a slightly better design that included the mechanism on both sides.

I would Buy from another if given the chance.
All parts came loose in a box bolts and screws everywhere unbagged, I’m missing pieces. Instructions are unclear to follow and look very homemade. It recommends 3 to 4 hours for assembly with the help of 3 to 4 people. That’s probably because you have to sort it for an hour and a half find out what you’re missing and then figure out how to put it together on your own because the instructions are crap. After assembly the item proved too weak to hold the top. So if you were looking for a one person top removal and storage option this is not it. I needed two people to prevent my top from breaking after the gear bend under the weight of the top the lift lowered almost breaking the back windshield.

Easy to use
So easy to use ! And also you can store the top on it ! Best money spent.

Disappointing…
You would think the manufacturer would realize the target audience of this product is typical for someone who doesn’t have a garage or carport to have a lift. But they don’t. Because the first time any part of this is exposed to outdoor elements it rusts. And after it starts rusting all of the components become different to move. Especially the gear that is responsible for holding all of the weight. If I would’ve known that I wouldn’t get one summer out of this $700 expenditure, I would’ve found any other solution for lifting the roof off. Furthermore, the roof lift doesn’t fit between the back of the roof and the roll bar, you have to lift the top of the Jeep and place onto the rubber mounts and then roll it away. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Happy reader
Assembly is a little tricky. None of the four bags of hardware or screws were marked so everything had to be laid out before you start assembling. It takes about 4 hiurs and two people to assemble. If for some reason you decide to return, it's at your expense, roughly $300+ to ship back. Product is sturdy but they could definitely do better in marking parts.

Does what it’s supposed to
Not sure this thing has anywhere close to $700 in the materials and construction. Lol… gotta be like $50 in this thing. But… it gets the top off the Jeep without having to call for help so I guess that’s the value. Still… probably could have spent a few bucks at the hardware store and got the same job done.

Nice!
So not perfect for a JK but still gets the job done way easier, than without it. 9/10
