Hi, Thanks for your question, these days almost all the manufacturers do not produce products with silver plating because they turn black and need to be cleaned all the time and of course the customers do not like it. The current set is nickel plating that looks really similar to a silver plating, it has the shine and beauty of a silver plating but it does not blacken and does not need to be cleaned. It will stay with the same shine and appearance for many years because on the nickel plating we make another lacquer coating.
