Allows my neck to be in a neutral position on the seat back, too. I've tried self-inflating, gel-filled, and reverse valve travel lumbar pillows in the past, and they don't come close to this. Inexpensive, too. I don't dread a few hours on a plane anymore.

Lift the rounded part of the piece which covers the inflation valve. Hold underneath that rounded piece and just pull it apart. A very large hole appears in the inflation valve of the inflatable lumbar support and it deflates easily. I found that leaving the deflation valve open while I rolled it up to go in its case was a good idea. That allowed the last bit of air to be forced out of it so that it would fit inside its small case. I’m going to use the inflatable lumbar support on the long plane flight shortly. I do not want to carry a fixed lumbar support because that will be one more thing to manage while going through TSA in boarding the plane. Inflating after I get on the plane seems like a good idea to me. If I run into any problems, I will post again. Given my experience so far, I expect the Vive Inflatable Lumbar Support to work well. Now you do not need the manufacturer to have instructions on how to deflate the Vive. You have those instructions in this review.

My Vive just came today. I tried it out in the car and it worked great. Inflating it was much easier than I thought it was going to be. Waiting to see if this product holds its air before giving it 5 stars. My previous purchase began leaking air and I could never determine from where in order to fix it. Otherwise this is a great device to support the back while driving. Do not fully inflate; it’s the give and take and flexibility of the pillow to move with the body that makes it so comfortable and supportive. Have a wrench handy to pull open the tab to fill with air.
