Bought two of these for hot lunches for both of my teenagers. Best ones I’ve found! And at an affordable price. Durable, and keep their food hot.

I bought this to transport hot meals to work for lunch and it does a fantastic job. I was worried that it might be too small, but it's just the right size for me. It does keep my food warm. Some mentioned it leaking heat. It does leak some heat out of the top so I wouldn't put it near something you want to keep cold. It is hard for me to open. There is a handle on the top, but no handle anywhere on the body. So, it tends to twist together when you try to unscrew it. I've found along with pushing the release button that I have to hold the body between my legs to get the proper pressure to keep it from turning. There is a trick to getting it to screw closed correctly. I found that because my hot food is putting off steam, the lid doesn't always screw down correctly and would always pop out of the track.. What works is to screw the lid part way down, press the release button and then screw it down the rest of the way.

I have purchased these multiple times and even given them as gifts. Loyal customer for 10 + years or so. This Bentgo bento box is one of the best lunch containers for keeping meals organized and easy to pack. The compartments work really well for separating foods, and the leak-resistant design holds up impressively well during daily use. It’s sturdy, easy to clean, and practical for both kids and adults. It also travels well for school, work, or outings without creating a mess. Overall, it’s a reliable, high-quality lunch solution that makes meal prep and packing much easier.

Overall it's easy to use but the problem is: it can only keep the food up to 3h in a lukewarm status..

For Full Review: Continue: *** BUYER BEWARE: Disappointed in this Product And I Rarely Use it Due To The Following: After 1 hour, This product only keeps food barely “tepid” which means: Less than warm. I’ve tried to preheat the container with boiling water (then emptying) prior to filling with oatmeal, soup, stew, etc. I’ve tried preheating in oven on lower temperature prior to filling with food ( then I wrap with kitchen towel for travel) to maintain internal heat— I’ve tried wrapping in foil for travel, nothing works! ***The best outcome is a barely warm meal EVEN if I put food in the container minutes before departure. ***ALSO- it is very difficult for me to open (even after pressing the release button on top of lid) let alone a child or elderly person. It is nice looking, BPA free, easy to hand wash— I did not place in dishwasher. Bentgo needs to start all over with this product!
