You might get away with 3/8 but I think it would be very tight, especially if long. So be safe and use 1/2 inch.. You will b fine. Look a the wire you are getting at its specs. It should tell you major dia. Add the 3 up. 2/3rds of you total will be bare minimum . But remeber if you make it to tight before shrinking.
